"I understand. I’ll follow your arrangent." Luna nodded. "Still, how do we know if it’s successful or not?"
Nathan raised three fingers. "I will make three types of contracts. The first contract is the one binding him to remove the black cell. The second contract will be his life contract. This contract will bind him so that I know whether he is alive or dead.
"Last but not least, the completion contract. This contract will disappear and give three types of feelings upon its disappearance for three types of answers: completed, stuck, or failed.
"In case it’s a success, we can always visit this continent again in the future. Evelyn and I can create a long-range teleportation that can connect the two continents after a certain level."
Luna never thought the solution was right before her. She was worried earlier whether she would end up staying because of her brother or follow Nathan.
But with this solution, she could follow Nathan without any worries.
Luna looked down while closing her eyes. She felt relieved.
She placed her head on Nathan’s chest before saying with a tired tone. "Thank you..."
Nathan smiled while stroking the back of her head. "No problem."
"In that case, I should tell Evelyn about it." Vivian casually walked away, leaving the two alone.
While they were celebrating, ssengers were sent to both the dynasty and the empire.
And the ones who sent the ssage were none other than Ternius and Henry. Both of them had enough qualifications to describe the battle in detail.
...
Erwih Dynasty.
"What? They won?" The emperor blinked his eyes a few tis. "The casualties?"
The queen sighed. "The most important thing should be the casualties. If our loss was too great, it couldn’t be considered a victory."
They had sent a lot of people, so they expected them to win in the first place.
However, the ssenger fully described what actually happened on the battlefield.
The fact that Nathan single-handedly killed the Frequency was quite extraordinary, especially when he did it in such a short period.
Ternius and Henry couldn’t play a big role in this battle, which was disappointing. Or so they thought until they heard the part regarding the Godfather.
The ssenger explained the battle process from what he had seen. Of course, Ternius and Henry supplented the knowledge.
It was at this mont that they realized it was a trap.
This whole ti, they never realized the Godfather was so strong. He had grown much stronger than a few years ago.
He was so powerful that even the emperor couldn’t believe him. However, according to his eyes, the ssenger had no fluctuation whatsoever, confirming the authenticity of the content itself.
"Are you really sure about all this?" The emperor asked.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
The emperor gasped. The queen smiled wryly.
They never thought soone so strong would be defeated. Luna’s power was amazing indeed. She could be considered the strongest on their continent.
But even she didn’t stand a chance if she fought the Godfather alone.
What was even more terrifying was Nathan’s power. Nathan wielded a power that could rival the top summoners in the dynasty and the empire.
In fact, even Ternius and Henry claid they couldn’t defeat him alone.
There was also Evelyn, whose strength might have surpassed Ternius’s or Henry’s.
With the three of them combining their powers, they barely defeated the Godfather. And that was only because there was another plan that had been prepared to trick the Godfather.
If not for this fact, they might end up losing.
"Thank you. You are dismissed." The emperor waved his hand.
Once the ssenger left, the empress asked, "What are we supposed to do next? This is a joyous occasion, right?"
"Yeah. The hidden danger has been removed, so it’s a joyous occasion. I just don’t know what I should do next."
The emperor could congratulate them, but he knew that they didn’t belong here. If they tried to stop them from leaving, they might retaliate. Then again, their relationship was quite good, so there was no reason to stop them.
Besides, it would be quite serious when the people knew the hidden dangers that had been isolated by the dynasty the whole ti.
If people knew and speculated that the dynasty had to do sothing with this, they would be furious.
So, the emperor could only focus on the dynasty rather than Nathan’s group.
"I never thought that the young man could grow this quickly."
It was true. Nathan’s growth was the most explosive. No one could imagine the kind of being Nathan would beco a decade later.
Then again, they might be worrying about the wrong thing, considering the threat from the alien had just gotten more and more dangerous.
...
In the empire, the emperor was also worrying about the sa thing. It was already good enough that Nathan didn’t hold a grudge. If he ended up attacking the empire because of the second prince, the empire would be dood.
Even if they weren’t destroyed, they would decline, and the dynasty could easily swallow them whole.
It was a sha that the union between them didn’t happen.
The only problem would be the Eleren family. This was Luna’s family. If they were too harsh on them, they would end up provoking Luna and Nathan.
So the emperor wondered what he should do.
...
It looked like Regina had been concerned about it as well.
That was why after Luna left Nathan’s side, she ca to him.
"Mhmm?"
"Nathan..." Regina scratched the back of her head. She heard that the second prince restrained Nathan’s movents when he fought Frequency, resulting in Nathan using his trump card. If he hadn’t revealed it too early, the battle would have been easier for them. "Sorry... for the second prince."
Nathan waved his hand. "I don’t plan to pursue it since I plan to return in two days."
"Still, it was our mistake, and if there was anything I could do to make up for it, just let know."
Nathan paused for a mont. "Well, I might take your offer on that."
