"This is the money." Evelyn gave the money to Nathan. They had regrouped in the inn, as Koraxa still stayed by Bianca’s side.
"It looks like she hasn’t woken up yet." Nathan raised his eyebrows.
"Yes. From what I’ve heard, once soone uses a Bestowal, the target will only wake up after a few days. That’s the minimum."
Nathan nodded. He wondered if Bianca already had an innate ability before this. After all, Bianca had saved the world.
At the sa ti, Bianca never appeared in the last part of the original Nathan’s journal. Besides, if Bianca had reincarnated, she would have the mory about the original Nathan.
He thought that the original Nathan might have released Bianca from the continuous suffering. Still, after saving the world again and again with the original Bianca, she might not have the mory of her past lives, but she should already have her innate ability.
After all, the original Nathan continued to possess the innate ability in every reincarnation.
Nathan wondered if Bianca had just beco a person who possessed two innate abilities at the sa ti.
Nonetheless, he couldn’t get his answer before Bianca woke up.
So, he nodded to Koraxa. "Sorry, but I need you to stay by her side at all tis, Koraxa."
"Don’t worry, sir. I’m your vassal. My job is not to always stand next to you. My job is to make you feel assured even when I’m not by your side." Koraxa smiled.
It looked like he didn’t accept the wrong person.
Evelyn asked, "In that case, have you found out the information about the Federation? How are we going to approach this?"
"Yeah, about that..." Nathan raised one finger and started his explanation. He told them about all the information he got from the random guy, including the information about the Summoning Card.
Evelyn couldn’t help but cross her arms. "So, you still couldn’t contain your curiosity about their power?"
Nathan waved his hand. "This is necessary before the negotiation. Besides, if I really couldn’t contain my curiosity, I would have asked for more details."
Evelyn sighed. "Anyway, I get the gist of the situation. This continent seems to be much more combat-oriented. That’s why they’re having a hard ti producing anything to eat.
"However, doesn’t this an that even if we promise them to clear up the sky, it won’t matter much to them? After all, they don’t look that adept at farming. They don’t have the necessary familiars to do it."
Vivian thought for a mont. "I do have several seeds that can be harvested multiple tis a year. There are ashes all around us, so there’s no need to worry about fertility for so ti. The only problem will be how long they can last..."
"Indeed," Evelyn agreed. "We can provide for them for so ti, but we won’t be here all the ti. In addition, there are simply too many mouths to feed, so you alone won’t be enough, Vivian."
"Maybe if I push myself..."
"We need you to fight as well. This is the last place we have to check to see about that possibility."
The two looked down, contemplating.
"You don’t have to worry about that. I already have a plan. For now, I want Koraxa to remain by Bianca’s side. If she wakes up, please calm her down until we’re done with our matter.
"Evelyn, I want you to set up a portal, but it’s not for the Federation or other countries. I want you to set up hidden teleportation circles for us to travel between the three countries. It doesn’t matter where it leads, I just want them to at least reach the other country.
"As for Vivian, I’m going to ask you to follow for a bit. We will try to et the leader tonight."
Evelyn still couldn’t imagine what Nathan had prepared, but it looked like Nathan was confident with his idea this ti. Hence, she accepted the task.
Nathan looked at Bianca first and stroked her hair lightly before leaving her.
Evelyn was probably the only one who had realized why Nathan treated Bianca like this. She had found out about the journal as well as Nathan’s true identity, so she knew Bianca was related to the original Nathan. She had so guesses, and one of them was that Bianca was Nathan’s student.
Nevertheless, they left the inn to handle their own preparations.
Vivian was slightly surprised because Nathan had prepared a huge gift. But this gift couldn’t be replicated by anyone and had a ti limit.
It was actually a perfect gift that could be used by this country to solve the food shortage.
No, it was actually the only solution to the food shortage. If the Federation didn’t take it, the Republic and the Kingdom would definitely take it.
Once night fell, Nathan led the group to sneak into the castle. They could see that the situation inside the inner wall was much better, but it would only be a matter of ti until unrest grew. When people beca too hungry, they would do anything in their power to secure their own food, even if it ant launching a rebellion.
Nathan ca with this thought in mind.
As soon as they reached the castle, Nathan actually unleashed his aura a bit. This allowed anyone with power at least equal to that of a world-class summoner to sense it.
In that instant, seven people ca out, trying to stop the intruders. Nathan could see two old people with a divine rule.
"Who are you?"
"Intruders!"
"State your purpose!"
These people were glaring at Nathan. Evelyn and Vivian had already raised their guards. They never fought the people on this continent, so they didn’t know the difference in their powers.
Nathan, on the other hand, simply smiled as if he wasn’t scared facing all of them. He simply looked at the two old n and pointed to his own mouth while saying, "Now, now. Calm down for a second. I only have one demand: I want to et your leader."
