"The solution to the food shortage."

"!!!"

All of them couldn’t believe what they had just heard.

The president asked for confirmation. "Do you really an it?"

The chancellor’s expression turned grim as he thought, ’Right now, we’re in quite a predicant. There is simply no food to eat. The gap between the inner ring and the outer ring is so massive that there’s soon to be growing unrest, leading to a rebellion.

’If we can solve the food problem, we can probably survive this unrest. At that ti, the growing popularity of the president will allow us to stop the minister from taking over the Federation.

’However, can we actually solve the food problem? Does his continent have a solution to that problem?’

"..." Nathan didn’t answer imdiately. Instead, he looked around as if he were asking the king whether these people could be trusted.

It indicated that Nathan had so knowledge about the Federation, and he wanted to ally himself with the president.

The president understood the gesture and assured, "Don’t worry. These people are trustworthy. They can hear whatever it is."

Nathan nodded. "From what I can see, this continent has high combat power but low utility. Even if the sky is clear, you will still have a hard ti fulfilling the food demand because there aren’t enough familiars to handle this case."

The others didn’t like the way Nathan worded it, but Nathan continued, not caring about their displeasure. "In that case, the solution is simple. The first is to clear up the sky, which allows you to clean up the area and start growing crops again."

So people opened their mouths, wanting to tell him it wasn’t that simple. Nathan raised his hand, stopping them because he already knew about it.

"However, due to the lack of food and the thod to provide the food, you will first need food to sustain yourself until the first or second harvest, not to ntion the ti you need to clean up the field to beco suitable enough for farming."

They agreed with this argunt. They wondered if Nathan could give them a solution.

"In that case, the solution is simple." Nathan took out a few cards. "In my hand is an access card to my domain. I’m not talking about territories. I’m talking about domain ability.

"One month in this domain is equal to a day outside."

"!!!" The chancellor widened his eyes in shock. "One day is equal to one month? Does that an you’re planning to use this domain to grow crops?"

"Indeed. If you want to grow crops in this situation, you will need nutrients to keep the soil fertile. However, because of the disaster, there are plenty of them around.

"Hence, the only thing you need is my domain. I am prepared to give you so seeds that can be used as staple foods. So of these seeds can be harvested three to four tis a year. That ans you can harvest them every few days.

"In one month, you can probably have ten harvests. The domain should be big enough to provide for more than fifty million people.

"This domain will last for a year. After one year, you surely won’t have any more food shortages, right?" Nathan smiled.

The chancellor could indeed imagine it. If the sky were clear, they could restart the farm. As long as there was enough food, the people could wait. No, they would be expecting the harvest.

They would work harder to ensure the harvest was successful.

The chancellor still thought about one problem. "But that only assus the cloud is clear. We have tried it, but the cloud continues to expand and eventually close the sky."

"Indeed." Nathan nodded in agreent. "That’s why I will take care of the clouds for you. Once the sky is clear, all you need to do is to do a small maintenance on the north. If you clear the clouds coming from the northeast, you can keep your sky clear."

"Is that really possible?"

"Or why would I co here? Bringing false hope?" Nathan shrugged, implying that he had done this before.

For the chancellor, it was the sa as admitting that the continent Nathan ca from already had a clear sky.

The president asked, "What do you want, Mr..."

"Oh. I apologize. It looks like I forgot to introduce myself. I am Nathan Reckmoon." Nathan smiled.

"I am the president of the Federation, Eulja Kronika. So, Mr. Nathan, what do you want from us?"

"I want the continent to remain standing." Nathan smiled.

"!!!" They were dumbfounded. They simply couldn’t believe that Nathan only had such a wish.

"Of course, that’s only one of my requests." Nathan raised two fingers. "There are two other requests. The first is that I want to know everything about the Summoning Card."

"Are you trying to get our power for yourself?" The president frowned.

"If I want to know everything for myself, I don’t have to ask you, right? There are plenty of people who know about it and I just have to approach soone desperate enough to give that information." Nathan shrugged.

"Indeed." The president couldn’t refute it. "Do you an the special information that only the Federation possesses?"

"Yes. How much it is will be up to you. Well, maybe if I’m satisfied, I’m also willing to offer you a bit of knowledge from my continent. Surely, it might enhance your power."

The summoners were looking at each other. If they could get their hands on this piece of knowledge, they might be able to beco stronger. After all, Nathan was able to beco this strong at such a young age.

That ant they needed to be generous with their offer as well. Nathan must have gathered a certain amount of knowledge from other people, so he wanted sothing more secret.

Nathan added, "However, I don’t intend to just present this agreent to the Federation. I will be giving the sa thing to the Republic and the Kingdom."

"What?!" They were a bit stunned. If they got the exclusive right, they would beco a superpower.

However, Nathan reminded them, "I have ntioned earlier that I want this continent to remain standing. Surely, you don’t think that by allowing you to monopolize this opportunity and grow from it, this continent will remain standing against the aliens, right?

"If you’re going to tell it’s possible because of your arrogance, I will remove the Federation from this opportunity.

"After all, you can’t even see that when the Republic and the Kingdom are going down, you will have to face all the aliens they’ve been facing all this ti by yourself.

"That is only talking about starving them to death. We’re not talking about the fact that they will also see their neighbor having so much food and thinking about starting a war to get that food. Once a war occurs, many fighters will die, and the aliens will end up becoming the biggest winner."

When Nathan told them about the possibilities, they couldn’t help but lower their heads.

The chancellor also understood the situation. Nathan’s main purpose was to let them continue facing the aliens.

If that were the case, the best way was to share the opportunity and let the status quo remain.

Nathan raised one finger. "Last but not least, I would like to receive the map of the Federation that contains the locations of all cities within the Federation."

"!!!" They were shocked once again. This was classified information. If the enemy had this information, they would know where to attack.

"This..." The president looked troubled.

"Of course." Nathan smiled. "By presenting you this opportunity, I know that the president will be able to beco even more popular, which ans you can suppress the minister who is threatening your position, right?

"Well, how about I help you deal with him? At the very least, an additional three summoners of my level should help you a lot, right?"

The chancellor was able to see through Nathan’s intention right away. "Surely, you’re not intending to get the map from the minister, right?"

"I do. If the president doesn’t accept my demand, I will just get the map from the minister. After all, this is my true goal."

The chancellor frowned. "Why? I don’t see the reason for you to need this map. Do you plan to conquer the Federation? Do you want to conquer this entire continent?"

"Not at all." Nathan shook his head. "I simply want to find a single city. I don’t know its na, but I know its appearance."

They beca confused this ti. What kind of city was Nathan trying to find?

"I have the information that the aliens will launch a big attack on that city and that attack will spread to other areas, devastating the entire continent. The aliens that will attack this ti are much stronger than any of us here. They have ford a divine body. You can consider them half-divine beings or even stronger than that."

"!!!"

"My goal is to find the location of the attack and eliminate them, with or without your support."

"Are you a hero?" The president asked.

"A hero? I don’t think so." Nathan shook his head. "I’m just a man who is playing chess with an alien. The alien is putting a piece that attacks the stability of the entire world, so I just make my move to defend it."

"Doesn’t that an you can generously give all that for the sake of this world?"

"Like I said, I’m no hero. I don’t care whether I make a deal with a greedy pig or a sane person as long as it can stop this world from being destroyed."

"..." The president frowned. This wasn’t a bad deal. He could regain the stability of the Federation. The price might be significant, but if he could confirm just one thing, it might allow him to make a decision. "Will you share the information you get from here with other countries?"

"I know very well how important this information is. Knowing where to strike allows your enemy to have a huge advantage, so I won’t be sharing any information I get from the respective countries. I won’t share the confidential information from the Republic and the Kingdom with the Federation as well."

"But we don’t know that."

"You have to trust on that. Well, I do have another thod. You must be aware of an ability that a person can possess, which will make them unique, right? In my continent, that’s called Innate Ability."

The president nodded. "On this continent, it’s called Unique Ability."

Nathan ford a contract. "This is my ability. Soul Contract. Once signed, this contract will bind us. Unfortunately, I can speak to you, but I can’t write in your language. As a result, you won’t be able to determine whether I write it according to the agreents or not."

The president contemplated. If he didn’t accept this, the minister would surely accept it. The Republic and the Kingdom would most likely accept it if Nathan just told them that the Federation was foolish enough to reject it.

There was a risk about this precious information, but in exchange, he would get the stability of his rule.

The Federation would also remain standing.

After contemplating it, the president made the final decision. "I understand. I will accept the agreent."

"Sir?" The chancellor thought it was too hasty to accept the agreent.

"I will take full responsibility for this. It will be fine if I am known as the fool, but people will only rember that if the Federation is still standing. In that case, I would rather listen to the whisper of the devil in front of ."

Nathan nodded. "That’s a great choice. There will co a day when people will think that you’ve made the best decision."

"We don’t know that yet." The president shook his head with a helpless smile.
