Chapter 970: Visiting Evelyn
Over the next several days, Nathan spent his ti in the Sleeping Garden. Under Evelyn’s guidance, he gradually deciphered his magic.

Although Bella was worried, Evelyn had promised that she would ensure his safety and even guide him there.
Hence, even if Nathan was about to die, she could teleport to his side and help him. Even an extrely powerful alien wouldn’t be able to catch Evelyn and Nathan thanks to Evelyn’s elent.

Selena nodded. “I will do my best to grow stronger and stronger. I will prove to the world that I, too, can beco a leading summoner.”
“With this, the lifebound contract is completed. Can you feel the change in your body?” Lilith asked, as she had already seen the change in her appearance. Selena’s eyes were red before, but this ti, they were bright red.
“Yes.” Selena confird it. “Although I’m still unable to release this elent, I’m planning to work hard so that I don’t embarrass you.”
Lilith nodded. “While you are not a vampire, don’t forget that I’m a vampire… If you don’t mind…”
Selena smiled gently. “Don’t worry. I don’t think Nathan would mind. I will tell him about it. Besides, Risa is doing the sa thing.”

Selena raised her eyebrows. She understood what it ant to be a primordial being. If that was the case, Lilith’s strength might surpass that of a god.

Selena only nodded her head for that request.
With this, the lifebound ritual had officially ended, and Selena had gained the blood elent. With Risa and Lilith as well as her own potential, Selena was on her path toward the top.
Her master, the Sage, would guide her along the way. Her father would accompany her now and she even gained the favor of Duke Coline. Now that she could fully focus on her own journey, it was ti for her to grow stronger and help Nathan.

“No. Who determines darkness to be bad and light to be the correct path? If light is the only thing correct, God won’t create day and night.” The Pope asked, “I believe you have two paths you can choose this ti.”
“Light or dark?” Sera tilted her head in confusion.
“No. The first one is an elent that encompasses both of them, such as light and dark, day and night, white and black… or sothing along those lines. The second option will be to not have a single lifebound familiar.” The Pope smiled. “I can’t provide you with a better answer for the first one…

A few days passed, and Nathan finally returned to the city.
He was supposed to visit his teacher’s house to make sure she was alright, but Nathan got a surprise this ti.
Nathan was sitting on the floor with his back leaning on the door. Surprisingly, his teacher was in front of him, hugging him so tight as if she didn’t want to let him go.
Her body was shaking, revealing her fear. Nathan could only look up, asking himself, ‘What is happening now…’
