Chapter 971: Losing Her Family
A few minutes ago.
After his return, Nathan went to Vivian’s house right away, checking her condition.
The sound of the knocking door filled the house as his voice echoed inside, “Master. Are you there? Have you eaten yet? I have so food here.”
With no response from Vivian, Nathan could only sigh and put it down on the floor. “I will be leaving your food here, Master. Please make sure you eat.”
At the very least, all the trays he had been leaving in front of the house kept disappearing, so he knew Vivian had been eating or forcing herself to eat. Either way, she was fine.
“I’m going again, Master. Please take—!”
Before he finished his words, the door was opened. Nathan wanted to turn back to see Vivian, but the only thing he saw was the dark house and a hand pulling him inside.

“Nothing much really. All I know is that your family is ruined and you are trying to restore your family.”
Vivian paused for a mont. This was what she was planning to talk about.
“My family was destroyed when I was 12 years old. Both of my parents died against aliens and our family was run over.
“Because of that ss, as well as my potential, a person from the Frexia Academy took in, planning to have enroll in the academy once the ena in my body matured.
“And that person was Leyfon.”
“!!!” Nathan knew that Leyfon was the one guiding Vivian back from her depression, but he never thought Leyfon and Vivian were that close.

However, all those wounds were due to him protecting her. He saw through the enemy and acted the way the enemy wanted, making him the target instead of her… despite having not much strength.
He was tortured in her place. She was overwheld with guilt at that ti, but she still rembered what she said despite having all those wounds.

There was no need for an apology. All he did was like what he had been doing in the past year, guiding her like her elder. Even though they were together for one year, both of them considered themselves to be father and daughter.
Without him, Vivian couldn’t achieve all this. But what was even more saddening was that their journey was halted. She… once again… lost her family.
