Su Mu might have been a white-collar professional, but she was a fantastic cook. In less than an hour, she had skillfully prepared two Western-style als.
There was a pan-fried steak and a side of pasta for each of them, along with a vegetable salad.
To add to the atmosphere, Su Mu brought out a bottle of red wine and then put on so soothing music in the living room.
Even though they were at ho, the ambiance was perfect.

Xu Yun smiled. "If I didn’t know any better, I’d think we were eating in a private room at so exclusive club."
"I was just afraid you’d complain if there wasn’t enough ceremony."
Su Mu took the initiative and poured them each a glass of red wine. "A toast?" she said.
"Cheers."
The wine glasses clinked together, making a crisp sound.
They both took a sip before starting on the black pepper steak in front of them.
Su Mu explained, "I made the steak well-done, not dium-well. If you don’t like it, I can go make you another one."
"I’ve got simple tastes. I like my steak well-done."
Xu Yun cut off a piece and put it in his mouth. With one bite, he found it tender and juicy, absolutely delicious.
"Sister Su, your cooking is almost on par with a restaurant."
Xu Yun’s eyes lit up. "I’ll have to co by more often after work from now on."
"You’re welco anyti."
Su Mu smiled. "But you can get tired of even the most delicious food. I’m just worried you’ll stop liking it after a few tis."
"I won’t co every day. Just once in a while for a al will be enough."
Xu Yun replied, "That way, it’ll always feel fresh, and you won’t get sick of . Don’t you think I’m right, Sister Su?"
"That does make sense. I’m willing to make you a al occasionally. If I had to cook for you all the ti, I might really get tired of it."

After that, they drank red wine, ate steak and pasta, listened to the soothing music, and talked about their pasts.

Sohow, the two of them managed to finish the entire bottle of wine.
After dinner, Su Mu took care of cleaning up the kitchen.
When she ca out, she saw Xu Yun lying on the sofa, looking a little tipsy.

After doing all this, she walked straight over to Xu Yun, blocking his view of the TV.

Before he could even react, Su Mu seed to lose her balance and fell right into his lap.
