"By the way, who brought back last night? Was it a middle-aged man?" Shu Xin suddenly rembered sothing and asked.
"Not one, but two. They brought you to the doorstep, then realized they hadn’t bought condoms, so they went downstairs to buy so and ca back up to find you..."
"Impossible! Don’t insult people. Manager Zheng is the reputable boss of a listed company; how could he do such a thing? I think you’re just jealous of him," she said.

Lin Feng hesitated for a mont, then told her everything: the conversation he’d overheard and what Zheng Kaifang and the other man had planned to do to her.
After he finished, seeing that Shu Xin still looked skeptical, Lin Feng said, "If you don’t believe , why don’t you call your ’Manager Zheng’ right now and check? Or, look up his company online and see if it even exists, and whether he’s really the chairman."
Hearing this, Shu Xin glanced at Lin Feng but still took out her phone and dialed Zheng Kaifang.
The call wouldn’t connect; the line was out of service.
Still unwilling to give up, Shu Xin searched online, only to find that the company Zheng Kaifang had ntioned didn’t exist at all, and Zheng Kaifang was not the boss of any company.
"I was tricked?"
Looking sowhat disappointed, Shu Xin slumped onto the couch, drawing her legs up, still looking incredulous.
"He and that other fellow, Sun, they’re just a couple of predators who specialize in luring beautiful won into bed for sport. Don’t believe ? Think about it: how many tis did you ’coincidentally’ run into them on the plane? Do you really think all of that was just by chance?"
Lin Feng’s words were like a sudden awakening, making Shu Xin understand. "I knew it was too coincidental... So Manager Zheng... Zheng Kaifang is a fraud! No, I have to report him to the police and make him answer for his cris! Who knows how many other won that scumbag has hard!"
"No need. They won’t be able to harm any more won," Lin Feng said, stopping Shu Xin from calling the police. "I taught them a lesson last night. Their little ’buddies’ are probably useless now," he added with a sinister grin.
"You... you just... did a fantastic job!"
Shu Xin was stunned for a mont, then gave Lin Feng a thumbs-up.

Lin Feng had been transferred to the transportation departnt. It was a job with a flexible schedule and usually rotating shifts, so he hadn’t gone to the company that morning. He leisurely made his way to the Emperor Dragon Group to clock in around nearly eleven o’clock.
Upon arriving at the company plaza, he suddenly spotted a familiar figure—Wu i, the assistant to the vice president.
In the spacious plaza, Wu i was struggling to walk, carrying a large bag with both hands. Carelessly, the docunts she was holding slipped from her grasp, scattering all over the ground.
A breeze swept across the plaza, scattering the papers even further.
Wu i hurriedly tried to gather the docunts.
What a great opportunity! Lin Feng thought, quickly rushing over to help.

"Your na is Lin Feng, right? I saw in a docunt the day before yesterday that you were just transferred from the security team to the transportation departnt, weren’t you?" Wu i asked.
"Yes. Please look after in the future." Lin Feng offered a charming smile. He wanted to make a good impression on Wu i, making it easier to get closer to her and gather information later.
"Haha, we should look out for each other. Thanks for your help just now; I would have been in a real ss if it weren’t for you. Are you free tonight? I really ought to treat you to dinner."
The usually cold-faced Wu i, however, now revealed an incredibly captivating smile as she looked at Lin Feng.
