"Who the hell dares to touch ?!" Yang Ling roared, furious that soone had grabbed his wrist. He was shocked that anyone in Jiangzhou would be so audacious as to lay a hand on him. When he looked up, he saw a young man with an exceedingly cold expression staring daggers at him.
"Lin Feng!" Cao Ying exclaid, a mix of surprise and joy in her voice. The young man holding Yang Ling’s wrist was none other than Lin Feng, whom she thought had already left!
"’Sis, are you okay?’ Lin Feng asked calmly, his grip still firm on Yang Ling’s wrist as he turned his head to look at Cao Ying.
"’I-I’m fine... Let’s go,’ Cao Ying whispered, glancing at Yang Ling with disgust.
"’Sis? You’re her brother?!’ Yang Ling finally seed to understand. So, this kid is just being a protective brother. That explains it!"
Yang Ling assud Lin Feng was Cao Ying’s biological brother, not thinking twice about how little they resembled each other.
"Young Master Yang, what’s going on?" Qin Lang, who had co with Yang Ling, saw him caught by Lin Feng and approached, his expression souring. His father was a subordinate of Deputy Mayor Yang Tian, so he knew how terrifyingly influential Yang Ling’s father was. In Jiangzhou, there was virtually nothing his father couldn’t do, no one he couldn’t crush! Qin Lang didn’t dare let even the slightest thing happen to Yang Ling, terrified that Yang Tian would take it out on his father.
"’I’m fine... Qin Lang, just stay aside. This is none of your business,’ Yang Ling said, still managing a cheerful tone as Qin Lang approached.
"’Well now, Brother Lin Feng, is it?’ Yang Ling grinned at Lin Feng, then said with forced gravity, ’Don’t misunderstand. I wasn’t trying to do anything to your sister; I just wanted to invite her for a drink! The cocktails were already mixed. Who knew she’d disrespect so much as to not even take a sip before trying to leave...’"
Lin Feng, who had been watching Cao Ying from a corner, knew exactly what had happened. Forget Yang Ling’s presumptuous harassnt of Cao Ying when she ignored him; even if Yang Ling had politely invited Cao Ying for a drink and she’d refused him that ’honor,’ so what?!
"’Who do you think you are? My sister has to give you face?!’ Lin Feng sneered, flicking Yang Ling’s hand away. Yang Ling stumbled, and Lin Feng demanded in a low voice.
"’Damn it... he dared to touch ! Qin Lang, call for backup! Motherfucker, I’m going to cripple this brat!’ Yang Ling, who was used to getting his way, had been almost knocked to the ground by Lin Feng’s flick of his wrist. He raged, cursing out loud.
At this point, Yang Ling wasn’t claiming it was a misunderstanding anymore; he was so enraged he completely forgot about maintaining his image in front of Cao Ying!
Hmph, first I’ll have this woman’s brother beaten up, then have him tied up and dragged away. I refuse to believe this chick won’t fall into my hands obediently then! In his extre anger, Yang Ling imdiately cooked up this plan to get his hands on Cao Ying.
With Yang Ling’s order, Qin Lang didn’t dare delay. He imdiately called out, and two security guards in Longyue Building’s black suits entered from outside. "’Still spouting nonsense...’ Hearing Yang Ling’s words, Lin Feng’s brow furrowed deeper. He let out a cold snort, his fists clenching unconsciously. He could tolerate others looking down on him, but he would never stand by and watch Cao Ying be ridiculed like this!
Lin Feng took a step, preparing to go and grab Yang Ling. The two Longyue Building security guards tensed imdiately, blocking his path and reaching out with all four hands to seize him!
"’Lin Feng, don’t be impulsive...’ Cao Ying pleaded.
Lin Feng couldn’t be bothered to tangle with the club’s security. With a few flicks of his hands, he sent the two guards tumbling to the ground as if they were drunk.
"’You... who the hell are you?’ Yang Ling stared at Lin Feng, shocked. This kid’s skills seem pretty good..."
But Lin Feng ignored Yang Ling’s question. He walked right up to him, seized him by the neck, and slamd him onto a table in front of Cao Ying. "Apologize. Now," Lin Feng said coldly.
Yang Ling felt Lin Feng’s hand like a large iron clamp around his neck. He couldn’t move an inch. Slowly, his breathing beca labored, and his face started to turn a purplish-red.
"’Don’t, don’t hurt him! Quick, let go of Young Master Yang!’ Qin Lang was almost scared witless by Lin Feng’s actions. Who is this guy? Is he a reckless idiot or so scion from an extrely powerful family? How dare he grab Yang Ling like this? Isn’t he afraid Yang Tian will have him dealt with?!"
It wasn’t just Qin Lang; everyone in the bar who knew Yang Ling’s identity was dumbfounded. Damn it, this is the deputy mayor’s son! If sothing really happens to him, everyone here will probably be implicated!
However, even though Yang Ling was in dire straits, he showed no fear. Gasping for breath, he glared malevolently at Lin Feng and rasped, "Fine, you’ve got balls! Go on, kill if you fucking dare! Do you know who my dad is, you motherfucker?! You dare touch ? If you don’t fucking kill today, your whole family is dead!"
"’Lin Feng, don’t be rash...’ Although Cao Ying didn’t know Yang Ling’s exact identity, she could guess from his tone and the reactions of others that he was definitely not soone ordinary. If Lin Feng truly injured him, it would surely lead to terrible consequences! Of course, Cao Ying was even more worried that Lin Feng might accidentally kill Yang Ling. If that happened, regardless of how minor Yang Ling’s background might seem, Lin Feng would be in enormous trouble.
"’Sis, stay out of this. I’ll handle it,’ Lin Feng whispered to Cao Ying. Then, turning to Yang Ling, he said coldly, ’I don’t know if your dad can kill , but I know this: if you don’t apologize right now, you’re about to die!’"
As he spoke, Lin Feng gradually tightened his grip on Yang Ling’s neck.
"GURGLE... GURGLE..." Yang Ling’s angry expression vanished, replaced by terror. Unpleasant choking sounds escaped his lips, as if Lin Feng was about to crush his windpipe.
"’Let... let go... I... beg... you...’ Yang Ling finally began to plead, his voice strained.
