Those eyes were just like when Xiyan first saw Ou Jue.
Deep and vast like the Universe, carrying a coldness that kept others at a distance.
Just one glance made Xiyan freeze completely in place.
An overwhelming sense of dread suddenly arose in her heart...
Seeing Ou Jue awake, Grandma Ou was overjoyed and rushed forward, "Jue, how are you feeling?"
"I’m fine." His tone was indifferent, neither warm nor cold, as Ou Jue cast a faint glance at Xiyan, "Grandma, who is she?"
Boom— Xiyan’s mind went blank.
Her small hands hung limply, her gaze sowhat unfocused.
Ou Jue asked— who is she?

Grandma Ou was frozen in place as well.
Two seconds later, she erupted into panic, yelling as she sprinted out of the room, "Ahhh, doctor, doctor! My grandson must have hit his head too hard, hurry and co look at him!"
The room instantly fell silent, leaving only Xiyan and Ou Jue.
Ou Jue looked at Xiyan, his thin lips parted and closed, spitting out three cold words, "Get out."
Xiyan, in disbelief, stepped forward and poked at him with her finger, "You... don’t scare like this, alright? I’m Xia Xiyan."
She refused to believe that Ou Jue rembered Grandma Ou but forgot her!
"..." Ou Jue stared at her without a trace of emotion.
"Don’t tell you really lost your mory? Co on, we’re not filming a Korean drama here, stop joking around, okay?"
Ou Jue’s expression remained indifferent as he glanced at her, his voice flat and devoid of any rise or fall, "Are we close?"
In that mont, Xiyan felt like sothing clogged her chest, filling it so much she could barely breathe.

Ou Jue’s usually calm and unruffled eyes suddenly revealed a hint of shock.
He stared, slightly dazed, at the girl in front of him whose eyes were now red.
Xiyan clenched her small hands tightly, as if desperately suppressing her emotions, but the more she spoke, the more agitated she beca.
