He skimd for the important ones.

Lin Chu glanced at it but didn’t reply for the mont.
Further down the list was a ssage from Li Kai himself, sent in the early morning hours: "About those two things we talked about last night, are we still doing them? I can contact the people for you."
’He’s not calling Brother Chu anymore.’
Lin Chu thought for a mont, then replied: "Of course we are. We already agreed. Let’s grab lunch today. Peng Bay No.1."
Li Kai replied quickly: "Okay. Twelve noon, then."
He didn’t ntion anything besides business, and neither did Lin Chu.
So things were better said in person.
It was Saturday. When Lin Chu walked out of his room, he saw Lu Ming and Wang Zhefei sitting in the living room, playing a duo queue match of *Honor of Kings*.
Seeing Lin Chu erge, both of them imdiately shot him looks filled with gossip and intense curiosity.
Wang Zhefei deliberately laughed. "Hey, Brother Ming, look at the way he’s walking. Doesn’t he seem like he’s floating..."
Lu Ming played along: "Probably ’cause his legs are weak. The battle must have been too intense."
Lin Chu looked at them. "Fuck off, you two. Don’t be assholes."

"Stop pretending. I saw you. I’m having lunch with Li Kai, so don’t co. Go do your own thing," Lin Chu said with a casual laugh.
Hearing that, she suddenly perked up and shot out from under the covers. "Wait, you..."
"I’m going with you!"
Her tone was suddenly firm.
Lin Chu: "What’s it to you? You want to go and provoke him? Stay out of n’s business."
Her: "Aren’t I directly responsible for this? If a fight breaks out, I can at least try to stop it."
Lin Chu: "I’m Brother Pheasant, do I need your help? Just relax."
