Now reading: Chapter 1988 He was different from Supreme Harem God System, a Smut novel by SleepDeprivedSloth.

"They went to the most assured source of information."

Nux's expression changed when he heard those words.

"Eternity…"

"Yes, they made a deal with the Supre World of Eternity."

Dainar nodded. He wasn't surprised that Nux knew the answer; after all, everyone in this Universe knew what the most assured source of information was.

If there was anything, literally anything you wished to know, you went to the Supre World of Eternity. It didn't matter what it was—information about an ancient relic, about a world that was destroyed millions of years ago, or even information about your girlfriend's bathing habits.

Eternity would know it all.

Just that…

The price of getting that information was often not very cheap.

"We and the Progenitors of Orynthar exchanged five High-Level Relics in order to get the information. So keep this in mind,

what I am giving you is not cheap in any way.

I can confidently say that other than the Supre Worlds and we four Progenitors of Tenebris, almost no one else knows about the Temple of Ti. And those who do only think of it as a myth and don't bother looking into it.

I am actually surprised you even ca to to get this information, almost as if you knew exactly where to go to get what you need."

"I have a talent in that regard. If I want sothing, I take it, one way or the other."

Nux grinned.

"That is good."

Dainar nodded.

"The more resourceful you are, the better it is for ."

He grinned.

Nux smiled as well before he asked another question.

"Why was Orynthar so obsessed with the Temple of Ti?"

Dainar frowned at that question.

"Why are you? Or why is anyone else?

Power."

The answer was simple.

"And did the two worlds attain that power?"

Nux questioned, and Dainar just laughed.

"Even the Supre World of Eternity failed. You think we would have succeeded?"

"So you…"

"We failed.

The result was just as the Supre World of Eternity ntioned. We sent our Protectors, and they returned with a Law far weaker than they would have normally ford. Most of them decided to kill themselves."

"What sort of Laws did they form? Were they related to ti?"

"They were. But they were extrely weak. Most of them couldn't even clear one Trial, let alone all, so the Laws they ford were rely so little temporal manipulation with severe restrictions. The best we got was the ability to stop the flow of ti for a minute. It was a terrible failure."

Dainar still felt his heart bleed when he recalled the cost they paid to learn about that damned place.

"Why only send Protectors? Why not stronger beings?"

Nux questioned, curious.

"And do what? The place was built to form a Law. How are beings above the Sovereign Stage supposed to form a Law?"

"Why not try and understand the Temple itself?"

"It is just a place with so trials. What is there to understand?"

"…"

Nux didn't know what to say.

How this man beca the leader of a High-Level World, he had no clue.

"Can beings stronger than Protectors enter the place?"

"They probably can. One of the Progenitors of Orynthar walked in."

"And what did he say?"

"What else? As I said, it was useless. That place is a sham!"

Dainar lost his composure.

"If that place is a sham, then am I not making a bad deal here? Why would I promise you a favour in exchange for a sham?"

"Because you will still want to go there."

Dainar's answer was simple.

"Why is that?"

Nux narrowed his eyes. He felt like he was missing sothing.

"Because you think you are different from us."

Dainar grinned.

"Even we felt the sa.

So what if the Supre World of Eternity failed? It is very much possible that the most knowledgeable world in the entire Universe missed sothing—sothing that we might not. And who knows? All this talk about the place being useless might be a trick by the Supre World of Eternity so they could prevent us from going there and getting stronger.

All those foolish thoughts pushed us, and they will push you as well.

What we, the Supre World of Eternity, and all those worlds millions of years ago couldn't do, you would believe that you will be able to do it,

So you will go."

"…"

Nux turned silent.

This… actually made sense.

After all, he was different from these plebs.

He would obviously be able to clear all the Tower Trials and form the Complete Law of Ti. There was no doubt about that.

Seeing his expression, Dainar just grinned, knowing exactly what he was thinking. After all, he had the sa line of thought once.

"So? What else do you wish to know?"

He questioned.

"The coordinates. Where is the Temple of Ti?"

"5823232.423287334. Universal Coordinates."

Nux noted it down as Dainar continued.

"It is currently under the control of a High-Level World nad Tiguard."

"I have never heard about this world."

Nux frowned.

"Well, if you had, you would have known about the Temple of Ti. It is a desolate world devoid of life. There are only about 50 beings living there. Most of them have given their entire lives trying to peek into the secrets of the Temple of Ti."

Dainar then looked into Nux's eyes and—

"Just the people you wanted. Ones who are trying to comprehend the Temple itself. They have been doing this their entire life, and of course, they are failing quite miserably."

"…How strong are they?"

Nux questioned directly.

If they weren't as strong, then maybe he could read their mories and learn about them and the Temple itself, but…

"The strongest amongst them is a Peak Eternal, one of the strongest beings in the Universe. His four direct subordinates are all Eternals. The rest are Transcendents."

"…"

Nux turned silent, quickly abandoning his initial thoughts.

It seed like he needed to act like a good boy here.

He chuckled at that thought. Then suddenly, a crystal ball appeared right in front of Dainar. Dainar frowned, and then—

"Whenever you wish to call in your favour, activate that artifact and contact . If I am not too busy, I will pick up."

"Hey! There was no deal about being bus—"

"There was no deal about the Temple being a sham either."

Nux chuckled as he then cut the call.

Dainar's mouth twitched in annoyance. He, however, just shook his head and picked up the artifact Nux gave him.

On the other side, Nux, who was hovering in outer space, grabbed another being he had just kidnapped—an action that made Felberta frown.

"What are you doing?"

She questioned.

"Confirming what we found."

Just like that, Nux contacted another Tenebris Progenitor, and only after he confird the details regarding the Temple of Ti with all four Progenitors did he finally decide to make a move and teleport in front of Tiguard.
