Watching his daughter confront his wife, Xiao Zhen felt an instant headache. However, he couldn’t persuade either side, and had to take a step back.
Despite wanting to slap Xiao Keyi, Ye Jingli knew that Xiao Zhen’s care for Xiao Keyi was beyond her reach.
She gave a slight smirk, flipped her hair, and left.
"Your mama spoke for your good too. Why don’t you listen to her? What’s more, she’s pregnant now, so don’t upset her. Why are you being so disobedient? What is daddy supposed to do?"
After Ye Jingli left, Xiao Zhen earnestly tried to advise his daughter.
Unexpectedly, Xiao Keyi put down her little mirror, looking at her father with a particularly stern tone.

Then, a burly man kicked the shaky door open. Unexpectedly, behind the door lay a grassy field.
