With a sharp gasp, Michael rose from the bed, his heart pounding erratically.
"Another nightmare." He muttered in irritation, getting up.
Surprisingly, he had overslept, as he was the last one to get up. Testant to how much he had been exhausted, considering he was an early bird.
After making sure that his father was fine, he went to the lower floor where the coffee shop was.
"Good morning." Isabella giggled seeing her son’s ssy hair.
"You overslept? So things never change..." She said, making him take a seat before bringing him breakfast.
’I usually oversleep? Was this how I was in my prior life?’ Michael wondered, not showing his true emotion on his face.
For breakfast his mother had prepared a simple al. Fried eggs with bacon on the side, accompanied by a sugar-free coffee.
"Thank you for the al." Michael said, about to dig in, only for Scarlett to leave her work aside and near him with a mischievous smile.
"Eating alone?" Scarlett teased. "Doesn’t the VIP want to be fed by our wonderful maid, Ava?"
Sparing a glance at Ava, who was behind the counter eagerly trying to rember what his mother was instructing, he heaved a sigh.
"Leave the poor woman alone. She has enough on her plate."
With a giggle, his sister sat beside him, taking out her phone.
"Anyway, I wanted to talk to you about this video that had been trending before the deal with the asteroid belt."
It was one of the videos that Skylar and Luis had uploaded on the internet. Truthfully, Michael had long forgotten about it, so the number of views the video had greatly surprised him.
"Ten million?" He was by no ans an expert, but that video had clearly been a hit.
’Not to ntion that the comnts are generally on the nicer side...’ He mused.

Michael scratched the back of his head. Even if the comnts were more than a month old, it was apparent there had been a lot of traction, with even so internet users arguing among themselves.
"Am I really this out of date, or are there that many people that waste ti on this stuff?" He mumbled.
Scarlett’s eyes narrowed. "You have no idea! Though so of these comnts are quite funny. Look at these for example..."
After his sister was done singing her praise about how much she liked his viral video, Michael scoured the internet for relevant information about the war against the aliens.
"From what I am seeing, the aliens aren’t able to reach Earth." He concluded with relief. "As for the planet’s neighbors, Venus appears to be in the worst situation. Aside from the increasing alien threat, there are apparently nurous soldiers and civilians being reported missing."
Regardless of how much he thought about it, Michael couldn’t rember aliens that would abduct humans on such a large scale. That would either an a species of aliens that he had never encountered in his prior life had attacked them, or they were using thods that were unfamiliar to him.
After a brief consideration, Michael concluded that the best course of action was to visit the planet. As for the asteroid belt, he wouldn’t be able to do much due to the lack of resources.
At the end of the day he was a lone man, and even if his whole crew were to follow him, covering the entirety of the asteroid belt wasn’t possible at the mont.
For now Michael was going to leave the asteroid belt to the Emperor and the strongest factions.
It would be more beneficial for humanity if he were to improve Venus’ standing, allowing the bigger players on the board to focus their efforts on the asteroid belt.
"I can imagine that my family will not be keen on going to Venus. Though before I can afford to leave them be, I have to make sure that Samuel doesn’t get any funny ideas."
With his mind made up, Michael was surprised to see that most of the day had passed. Spending ti on the internet was clearly dangerous. Ti passed much faster than he realized!
A second later he was alerted by a ssage.
[Skylar: Hello, do you rember ? You allowed to interview you before. I was wondering if we could speak in private...]
Michael frowned slightly. "How did she get my contact information? Did Victoria give it to her while we were still on Triton?"
Debating on how he should answer, he rembered the viral video of him and how much traction it had managed to generate.
"Now that I think about it... This may prove quite useful." He mused, responding back.
[Michael: Sure, I actually too want to discuss a few things. When are you free?]
[Skylar: I—I can do it right now! Just tell where you want us to et!]
[Michael: There is this humble coffee shop that I am currently at. You can find it at these coordinates—]
With a smile, Michael glanced at Isabella.
"Mom, I hope that you have prepared Ava well. The shop is about to beco famous!"
