The Great City Lord gave so instructions, and the three Crystal Skulls simultaneously took a step forward, treading on the Void, slowly approaching the Cloud Sea.
As they got closer to the Cloud Sea, it began to flow slowly, as if startled. From within the Cloud Sea, faint sounds of tiger roars and dragon cries echoed, sending chills down one's spine.
The Great City Lord frowned deeply, stretched out his hand, and released a force, slowly enveloping the Cloud Sea.
The Cloud Sea, restricted by this force, seed to be enraged, imdiately starting to spin wildly.
At this mont, a massive stone tablet appeared within the Cloud Sea. The stone tablet was black, with two large characters inscribed on it: Heavenly Sect!
The power of the Cloud Sea seed to emanate from within this stone tablet, as it kept stirring up the Cloud Sea. The mighty force made even the Great City Lord continuously retreat.
"Do it!" the Great City Lord growled.
The Second City Lord and the Third City Lord, already prepared, imdiately took action upon hearing this, each raising the gourd above their heads. From each gourd, a beam of Qing Guang sprayed out, directly covering the stone tablet.
The Qing Guang appeared unremarkable at first, but once it shrouded the stone tablet, the tablet imdiately cald down, and the Cloud Sea returned to tranquility. It was as if the connection of power had been severed, and all the previous disturbances vanished at that mont.
The Great City Lord let out a sigh of relief. They had co here before and, after countless experints, figured out how to break this Array. The key was timing; the stone tablet had to be revealed before the Cloud Sea started to churn. Moreover, before the power of the stone tablet erupted, it had to be enveloped by the gourd's Qing Guang to temporarily suppress the Array.
Otherwise, a single mistake and the Array's power would explode, which would be terrifying.
The bones of the three Crystal Skulls were tough enough, yet previously they were nearly crushed to death by this Array. If not for the gourds protecting them at the critical mont, they might have died within the grand Array.
The Cloud Sea slowly dissipated, revealing the true appearance of the stone tablet.
The stone tablet stood on top of a cloud; its base was nowhere to be seen. There was no felt power on the stone tablet, but the two words on it conveyed an extrely majestic aura, making anyone standing before it feel an urge to kneel and worship!
The three Crystal Skulls had been here many tis and seen this stone tablet many tis. Yet, once again facing it, a shiver ran down their spines.
They cautiously bypassed the stone tablet and then quickly moved forward. Within the Cloud Sea Palace, they ran for about ten minutes before reaching the back garden of the palace.
In the back garden, there was a massive lake, not filled with water, but entirely with Spiritual Liquid.
If Su Yang were here to see it, he'd be imnsely shocked. This lake was no less impressive than the one in Rongshi Furnace Valley, or the one in Feather Spirit Palace!
Who would have thought such a Spiritual Liquid Lake existed right here within the Cloud Sea Palace!
The three figures arrived at the lakeside and jumped directly into the lake, imrsing themselves in it.
The reason they had been desperately trying to enter the Cloud Sea Palace earlier was because of this lake. From outside, they sensed this Spiritual Liquid Lake, prompting their long attempts to get in and soak in it.
If it weren't for their lack of power back then, having to absorb Yin energy in the City of Death, they might have already settled in the Cloud Sea Palace.
Of course, residing here permanently was impossible. The gourd's Qing Guang could temporarily blind the stone tablet, but after a while, it would regain its power, forcing them out of the palace.
"Quick, store the Spiritual Liquid first!" the Great City Lord instructed solemnly, leading by example by removing the gourd from atop his head and began filling it with Spiritual Liquid.
The gourd seed small, yet it had an internal space. Though not voluminous, it could carry quite a bit of the Spiritual Liquid.
The trio busied themselves for half an hour, watching as the water level of the lake decreased by a full tenth, and still had no intention of stopping.
Just then, the Qing Guang on the stone tablet gradually faded, and the tablet began to emit a glow. Outside, the Cloud Sea started swirling again.
"Not good, the Array is restoring!" the Great City Lord exclaid, and without another word, grabbed the Second and Third City Lords, leaping out of the Spiritual Liquid lake in a hurry.
As they ran out of the palace, the Cloud Sea was nearly boiling. The mont they entered it, a powerful force collided with them, throwing them out of the Cloud Sea.
Crashing to the ground, it took the trio a long ti to recover and rise, their bones almost shattered.
They alone could withstand such an attack; anyone else, even soone with Yang Wudi's power, would have had an uncertain fate under such an assault. After all, Yang Wudi didn't have their tenacity!
After lying on the ground for a long ti, the three slowly climbed back to their feet.
"How is it?" the Great City Lord asked.
"I'm fine, won't die from this!" the Second City Lord staggered up, sighing, "Ai, it's Old Three's fault, being too greedy, kept wanting to store more Spiritual Liquid. If we had left just half a minute earlier, we wouldn't be hurt!"
"You have the nerve to bla ? You packed more than I did, why didn't you leave earlier?" the Third City Lord retorted indignantly.
"I was packing quickly, you were slow, don't compare yourself with !" said the Second City Lord.
"Why should I?" the Third City Lord replied defiantly.
"Alright, stop arguing, you two!" The Great City Lord waved his hand. "Let's see if the Spiritual Liquid might be absorbed and whether that Spirit Liquid Essence that Big Brother ntioned erges!"
The Second and Third City Lords perked up, carefully removing the gourds from their heads to inspect them in detail.
The three gourds lay before them, and after a whole day and night, the trio no longer sensed the Spiritual Liquid's presence.
"It's ready!" the Second City Lord exclaid with excitent. "The Spiritual Liquid has been absorbed, quickly, see if there's any Spirit Liquid Essence!"
The Third City Lord picked up a gourd and inverted it. Soon, a translucent droplet began to slowly form at the gourd's mouth, almost about to fall. This droplet was rich with Spiritual Energy, its aura thousands of tis stronger than that of normal Spiritual Liquid.
The trio's eyes widened in unison, "It's truly the Spirit Liquid Essence!"
