"Exactly, if we had known this, we should've collected more Spiritual Liquid and condensed it all into Spirit Liquid Essence!" Third City Lord said, reaching out to touch the Spirit Liquid Essence, but Great City Lord slapped his hand away.
"Don't move!" Great City Lord said sternly, "Let's first see how much of this Spirit Liquid Essence is in the gourd. We need to know the conversion rate from Spiritual Liquid to Spirit Liquid Essence!"
Upon hearing this, Second City Lord and Third City Lord nodded imdiately. Right, if the conversion rate is too low, it would consu too much Spiritual Liquid, making this effort rather pointless.
Although the effect is excellent, the problem is, how much Spiritual Liquid would they need to achieve this effect? The waste of Spiritual Liquid also has to be considered!
Great City Lord picked up the gourd, examined it carefully, shook it a few tis, and then smiled broadly.
"What's up?" Second City Lord asked in surprise, having just picked up his own gourd, and upon looking at it, he too laughed directly.
Third City Lord had already picked up his gourd. He glanced at it and exclaid in shock, "Oh my god, so much Spirit Liquid Essence, this... this conversion rate is quite high!"
"Indeed, this... this conversion rate really surprised !" Second City Lord said, "Judging by the amount of Spiritual Energy contained in this Spirit Liquid Essence, none of the Spiritual Liquid's energy has been wasted. Because, after seeing Su Yang and his people, they realized that their current state was far from complete. For them, quickly restoring their bodies was the most crucial matter.
Of course, they also wanted to see what their bodies would look like upon restoration. Maybe once they see themselves, they'll recover so of their past mories, or at least figure out their true identity!
Second City Lord grabbed the gourd and poured a heap of Spirit Liquid Essence into his hand, ready to stuff it into his mouth, but Great City Lord stopped him.
"What's wrong?" Second City Lord asked, puzzled.
"Eating so much, aren't you afraid of indigestion?" Great City Lord glared at him.
Second City Lord was taken aback. Indeed, this Spirit Liquid Essence contains a lot of Spiritual Energy. Eating it like this could really lead to indigestion.
With so much energy entering the stomach, if not digested, that energy could shatter his bones; this isn't sothing to joke about.
Second City Lord could only dab a single drop into his mouth, slowly swallowing it. Even so, this ample Spiritual Energy caused his entire skeleton to glow, the vigorous energy nearly tearing his body apart.
At this mont, Second City Lord was filled with fear. Thankfully, Great City Lord had tily warned him, or he'd be in real trouble.
"Ugh, what a headache!" Second City Lord sighed, "In the past, we always felt the Spiritual Liquid wasn't enough. Now that it's sufficient, we can't even eat it. Boss, if we had known, we shouldn't have gathered so much, especially after getting blasted by the Array's power outside, we'd really feel the loss!"
Great City Lord ignored him, casually picked up the gourd from the ground, and said, "Let's go, head back."
"Head back, where to?" Second City Lord asked, puzzled.
"Of course, back to the elder brother!" Great City Lord said directly.
"Elder brother?" Second City Lord hesitated, "You an Su Yang? Why should we go back now? We have our own way to restore our bodies, do we really need to find him? And what if he wants the Spirit Liquid Essence? Taking so much back, we might just get robbed!"
Third City Lord nodded in agreent, not in favor of going back to Su Yang.
"Can't you two have so foresight!" Great City Lord said angrily, "Just because we've obtained these Spirit Liquid Essences, we're not going back?"
Second City Lord and Third City Lord exchanged glances, confused, "Then why head back?"
"Nonsense!" Great City Lord said, "With these Spirit Liquid Essences, what can you achieve? Ultimately, you'll just restore your forr appearance and enhance your powers a bit. But what about the future?"
"Future... we'll be free to roam!" Second City Lord said.
"Roam?" Great City Lord glanced at him, "You want to roam? Aren't you afraid of getting killed out there?"
"Killed?" Second City Lord said, stunned, "That's unlikely!"
"Unlikely?" Great City Lord glared, "I ask you, do you know your identity before your rebirth?"
Second City Lord shook his head.
"Do you know what you've done before your rebirth?"
Second City Lord shook his head again.
"Do you know if you had any enemies?"
Second City Lord still shook his head.
"You know nothing, yet you dare roam free!" Great City Lord glared, "Entering Feather Spirit Palace this ti, being lashed by those vines for ages, and being watched by so many in the small palaces. Do you think we have more enemies or friends outside?"
Second City Lord and Third City Lord panicked, the incidents in Feather Spirit Palace still vivid in their mories.
Others who entered Feather Spirit Palace Main Hall busied around Heaven-Reaching Giant Tree to scout Feather Spirit Palace. anwhile, the three of them got tangled in vines on the trunk, screaming in agony. They were lucky to leave alive, thanks to the rcy of the vines.
This incident beca a nightmare in their hearts.
So when Great City Lord ntioned Feather Spirit Palace, Second City Lord and Third City Lord fell silent.
"Boss, what's your plan then..." Third City Lord asked quietly.
"Nonsense, we'll continue following Su Yang!" Great City Lord said.
"Following him?" Second City Lord was puzzled, "Sticking with him ans we won't encounter our enemies?"
