Hao Jian initially thought that Zhang Danlin wanted to talk to him sowhere outside the classroom, but gradually he realized he was wrong. Hao Jian was directly led by Danlin toward the school gate, and they walked out without being stopped, as it was during regular break ti, so the school security didn’t interfere.
He then assud Zhang Danlin wanted to find a quiet place like a tea shop to discuss things with him, but he realized again he was mistaken when Danlin led him to the roadside, waved down a taxi, and took him along.
When he saw Zhang Danlin actually hailing a taxi, he hesitated, feeling this wasn’t right, and didn’t want to get in the car. Seeing him standing by the roadside reluctant to get in, Danlin just got out of the car, grabbed his hand, and dragged him inside. Unable to shake her off, he was thus directly dragged into the car by her.
After getting in the car, Zhang Danlin gave an address to the driver, who then drove straight to the destination, while Hao Jian and Danlin sat silently in the back seats. Danlin didn’t speak, staring straight ahead, and Hao Jian sat upright, puzzled about what Zhang Danlin was up to, wondering why they had to go outside to talk and why she seed to have already planned where they were going.
He dared not look at Danlin, worried that if he did, she would turn to look at him, making him feel anxious. Despite being skilled with won of all temperants and navigating relationships skillfully, sitting next to Danlin made him feel a bit afraid, though he wasn’t sure why.
The driver focused intently on driving, unaware that as Hao Jian and Danlin ca out, they were seen by soone. Unbeknownst to him, the scene of being pulled into the taxi by Danlin was also witnessed by soone, who stared wide-eyed.
This person was initially sitting in a tea shop deep in thought, suddenly dashed out upon seeing them, hailed a taxi by the roadside, and followed. Her face was furious, her eyes blazing with anger, gritting teeth, believing Hao Jian did sothing odd in the morning, and now sneaking off with a girl at noon in a taxi.
Though unaware of their purpose, she could guess. Liang Xiaohan sat in the car, feeling the driver wasn’t going fast enough, urgently urged him to speed up to catch the car ahead. The driver looked helpless, as the speed was already at the limit before the police would intervene.

"Where are we going?" Seeing the car drive farther and farther, Hao Jian finally couldn’t help but ask Danlin.
Zhang Danlin glanced at him, replying, "You’ll find out soon, stop saying so much nonsense now."
This statent blocked Hao Jian from speaking further, leading him to turn his head to view the outside, lost in thoughts. anwhile, the driver contemplated how young girls and boys nowadays all seed rash, the girls aggressive, and the boys timid—nothing like the past.
After about five minutes, the car stopped at the side. Zhang Danlin paid and pulled Hao Jian along, who felt bewildered, deed the situation inappropriate, and tried to break free unsuccessfully. Danlin’s grip intensified, leaving Hao Jian unable to escape, thus continued being led by her.
The driver found this young pair quite intriguing, observing them a few more tis as they exited. But when he saw Zhang Danlin pulling Hao Jian into a place, he was utterly shocked.
"Geez! Are young people this open nowadays? How old could they be to behave so? I better talk this over with my daughter at ho; I can’t have her acting like this little girl." Saying thus, the driver shook his head, stopped observing, and left.
Puzzled as such matters usually showed eager boys, but this ti seed like a reluctant boy forced by a girl, the driver felt society had changed.
At the sight of Zhang Danlin dragging him toward a hotel, Hao Jian’s eyes widened with curiosity, questioning her intentions here. Gradually realizing he understood little about Zhang Danlin, his resistance grew, standing firm at the hotel entrance unwilling to proceed.
Though Zhang Danlin could lead him, yet if he resisted, she couldn’t force him further, stopping right at the hotel’s entrance.
"What are you doing?" Hao Jian said to Zhang Danlin in protest, "It’s almost class ti, let’s head back, whatever needs saying can wait. It’s a bad idea to be late for class."
Zhang Danlin dismissed Hao Jian’s excuse, knowing his classes were mostly spent sleeping or avoiding them, rarely attending seriously, thinking him only fooling around. But now, lacked the desire to converse, simply shot him a glare.
"Are you coming or not?" she assertively asked.
Hao Jian shook his head, unwilling, replied, "Not going, I need to attend class."
Glaring at him, Zhang Danlin asked, "Are you even a man!"
Damn it! Such a question enraged Hao Jian entirely. Any comnt by a girl is tolerable, except questioning his manhood; that aggressive challenge was insulting to a man.
Likewise, a guy must never admit inadequacy, for then, he’s unworthy of being a man. Strength matters for males, ability even more so.
In raging response, Hao Jian, towering over Danlin by a head, looked down angrily, asserting, "Of course, I’m a man!"
"Prove it then, co with , or retreat if not!" Danlin laughed, taunting.
With that, she grasped Hao Jian to proceed inside, initially standing unmoving, but her challenge softened him, provoking compliance until entering the hotel, realizing he’d fallen for Danlin’s goading trap.
Upon understanding, Zhang Danlin pulled him right to the hotel desk, briskly displaying her ID, demanding, "Room, please!"
The clerk stunned, never seeing a scenario where the girl initiated the room booking, and the boy appeared reluctant, her assertiveness shocking.
"Require a room!" Danlin reiterated purposefully.
The clerk paused, reflecting, quickly accepted her ID, processing the booking, handed the room key, then settled the paynt.
"Move!" Danlin instructed Hao Jian.
Despite reluctance, constrained by Danlin’s earlier shouted room request, drawing intrigued gazes, pouring with ulterior intentions, led him to comply avoiding further embarrassnt, accompanying Danlin across to the elevator.
Upon the elevator’s ascent, the clerk mused, shaking her head, noting how such peculiar situations were rare, yet today’s encounter truly surprising.
"Ding!" Danlin opened the room with the card.
"Enter!" she commanded Hao Jian.
He stood astonished, clueless about her intentions the whole day, observing her unusual deanor.
When upset typically not engaging him, but frolicking with friends, today silently contemplating evidently substantial matters tirelessly.
Such uncharacteristic behavior puzzled him yet hesitant to inquire further, maintaining silent observation without action.
Now, at midday compelled him to resolve issues straightforwardly yet had dragged him to check into a hotel alone with herself—an uncommon scenario drawing wide imagination.
His distress and surprise peaking, faced with Danlin’s assertive gaze left him indecisive about proceeding.
