If he went inside and saw Zhang Danlin looking so aggressive now, he feared it wouldn’t be so easy to co out again, and with a man and woman alone together at a hotel room in the middle of the day, if soone found out, things could get very complicated.
But if he didn’t go in, seeing Zhang Danlin’s stance at this mont, he feared she would force him in anyway.
He really couldn’t figure out what Zhang Danlin was up to. How did she beco like this overnight, acting so mysteriously?
"Get in!" Zhang Danlin said.
Hao Jian was still stubbornly standing outside the door, unwilling to enter. Zhang Danlin rolled her eyes and said, "Why are you acting like such a nagging woman about this? Are you a man or not?"
As soon as Zhang Danlin said this, Hao Jian, who was originally standing outside, found himself inside the room. Zhang Danlin smiled, and only then did Hao Jian realize he had been tricked again. It seed she knew this was his weak spot and used it against him.
He was filled with regret, feeling like he had boarded a pirate ship, deceived and coaxed by Zhang Danlin onto this journey. But now, there was no way out. As soon as he went in, Zhang Danlin slamd the door shut and stood guard by it, ready for anything.
Knowing he was already on the pirate ship and there was no turning back, he adopted a nonchalant attitude. Previously unwilling, he now walked directly into the room and sat on the bed, waiting to see what kind of trickery Zhang Danlin was up to in broad daylight.
Sitting there, he didn’t speak or do anything, letting Zhang Danlin make her move. He just didn’t believe that a person of Zhang Danlin’s nature could stay silent. He’d gone entire days without speaking before, so it wasn’t an issue. But Zhang Danlin was different; he’d just wait for her to reveal her intentions when she couldn’t hold back anymore.
He didn’t believe Zhang Danlin just wanted to talk about sothing. If it was just that, couldn’t it be discussed elsewhere? If the classroom wasn’t convenient, there were plenty of other places. Worst-case scenario, they could go to the playground—surely no one would eavesdrop there. So, he believed that Zhang Danlin bringing him from school to a hotel made her intentions far from simple.
He didn’t think much about it, just sat there foolishly. Zhang Danlin expected him to make a fuss, but to her surprise, Hao Jian beca obedient as soon as he entered. Her face imdiately showed a smile.
Then she suddenly approached Hao Jian and sat down next to him.
"Don’t you have anything to say to ?" Zhang Danlin suddenly asked, sitting beside Hao Jian.
Hao Jian knew that even if he didn’t speak, Zhang Danlin wouldn’t be able to help herself from talking. He remained silent, waiting for Zhang Danlin to say what she had to say. It would make things much less complicated.
Seeing Hao Jian remain silent, Zhang Danlin shifted closer, sitting even nearer to Hao Jian. She was already beside him, but this movent made them almost touch. Feeling uncomfortable, Hao Jian shifted slightly away.
"Why aren’t you talking? Are you afraid speaking will be awkward?" Zhang Danlin suddenly asked.
At these words, Hao Jian’s heart skipped a beat. He replied, "I don’t know what to say, so I’m listening to you. Besides, didn’t you say you had sothing to discuss with ? Why here... just say it quickly, class is about to start."
When Zhang Danlin heard Hao Jian speak, her face showed a slight smile. She leaned closer and said, "There’s nothing much, I just wanted to spend so ti alone with you. Why, are you unwilling? Or do you feel uncomfortable being with ? Would you rather be with Liang Xiaohan?"
When Zhang Danlin asked this, Hao Jian was so shocked that his hair stood on end. Won can be terrifying at tis; "hidden killing intent" often lies within just a sentence or two. The first half was easy to ignore, but the latter part was a total trap for Hao Jian.
If he didn’t respond, Zhang Danlin would assu that’s how he felt, and she might deal with him right away. But if he said yes, the outco might be the sa.
Now, he could only reply, "No, no, how could it be uncomfortable? It’s great."
He pretended to shrug, but in fact, he was extrely uncomfortable from the mont Zhang Danlin spoke. However, he didn’t dare to voice this discomfort because Zhang Danlin’s words carried a killing intent; if he dared to say sothing that contradicted her inner feelings, he feared he’d be silenced imdiately.
Upon hearing his answer, Zhang Danlin’s face finally showed a smile, and she instinctively moved a little closer to Hao Jian. The personal space between them was already minimal, and now their clothes were touching tightly.
Hao Jian, feeling the coldness from Zhang Danlin’s skin even through the clothes, felt his heart flutter. To regain so composure, he forced himself to lean slightly to the left, trying to put so distance between them.
That day, Zhang Danlin was wearing black wide-leg pants and a white short-sleeved top. Though simple, it accentuated her chic aura.
Her clothes, even if not particularly eye-catching, beca striking due to her beauty. If the clothes were already pretty, it only enhanced her allure further. Watching her, Hao Jian couldn’t help but feel captivated.
Noticing Hao Jian’s subtle movents, Zhang Danlin, without hesitation, grabbed Hao Jian to prevent him from moving further. Subsequently, she took his hand, placed it on her leg, and didn’t let go.
"This..." Though there was a layer of fabric between them, Hao Jian couldn’t help but tremble.
What was Zhang Danlin up to? Hao Jian wondered, furrowing his brows and feeling extrely tense. If possible, he really wished he could jump out of the situation. This was too tornting.
On one hand, there was the temptation of high hormones; on the other, there was the resistance of morality and conscience. He really didn’t know what to do. The most troubling part was he didn’t know what Zhang Danlin intended.
With her hand on her leg, Zhang Danlin leaned against his shoulder. He flinched, scared to move, realizing what Zhang Danlin was planning. But... he couldn’t do that. Doing so would betray his conscience.
"Don’t move, let enjoy this quiet alone ti!" Zhang Danlin suddenly said to Hao Jian.
Hao Jian had already not dared to move and now was even more cautious. Inwardly, he scread angrily, wondering how he ended up on this figurative pirate ship, leading to this situation.
If he let this continue, he’d betray his conscience and feel guilty toward Zhang Danlin, thinking it deceitful to a young girl. However, if he didn’t go along, he didn’t know what was right. Leaving might deeply hurt her, especially after last night and today. If he left and she did sothing foolish, he’d feel worse.
Thus, he continued sitting there, with Zhang Danlin leaning on him, his body tense throughout.
"Why... I’m just leaning for a bit. Why is your body so tense and nervous? I’m not going to eat you!" Zhang Danlin said.
Hao Jian didn’t expect her to guess his thoughts so quickly, surprising him into a hurried reply: "Ah! No way! Maybe it’s because the room’s heating is too high."
Zhang Danlin rolled her eyes. His nervousness was evident, and his excuse was clumsy, without any preparation for such a lie. The air conditioner hadn’t been on since they entered the room, so where did the heating co from? Hao Jian clearly lied with eyes wide open.
Even when he realized his mistake, Zhang Danlin didn’t expose him, letting him continue with his poor excuse.
Hao Jian’s face looked awkward.
Suddenly, he stood up.
"Oh, I’m a bit thirsty, need a drink!" Hao Jian said.
His speech sounded unnatural. If he was thirsty, he could just drink without announcing it, especially not with such gravity.
Seeing this, Zhang Danlin understood his little ploy, feeling slightly displeased.
