The burly figure in the doorway was none other than Ye Duo. The King Kong Barbie seed to have been eating well lately; she looked even more strapping.
Upon hearing Wu Yue’s words, her already dark complexion instantly took on a greenish hue, making her look rather bizarre.

Ye Duo snorted. "Of course!"
Wu Yue was about to snap back but suddenly seed to have an idea. She shook her head with a troubled expression. "As a Witch Disciple, you naturally wouldn’t understand the worries of us ordinary Pure Human females."

Wu Yue: "..."

A deep, magnetic male voice sounded from behind them. Ye Duo was so startled she stumbled and nearly jumped out of her skin.
Her heart still pounding, she turned to look. ’Holy crap!’
It was Yuan Lang. She stared in utter disbelief at Wu Yue, whose expression had gone a little stiff.
’So that girl wasn’t lying? Yuan Lang really did demand to get her water by force?’

Before Ye Duo could finish her coy, roundabout sentence, the Beastman lashed out with a kick. "Who is this female? Her whining is annoying as hell."

Yuan Lang’s expression shifted as he looked down at his foot. "You two carry on. I’m going to the river to wash my foot."
With that, he turned to leave.
Wu Yue quickly called out to him. "Hey, you might as well take this thing with you."
She said, pointing to Ye Duo, who was passed out on the ground like a dead dog.
