"What brings you here? Aren’t you gathering today?"
Wu Yue gave Qinghua a curious look. If she wasn’t mistaken, today was a gathering day for Grandma Lu Shui’s Collection Team.
Qinghua nodded. "Yeah, I’m about to head out. We’re going sowhere nearby today, so we’re starting a little late.
I just ran into Grandma Hua Shu in the clearing, and she said the Clan Leader wants you to go see the witch."
Wu Yue nodded. "Alright, got it. You should get going."
After bidding Qinghua farewell, Wu Yue had a quick word with the males on the construction team and turned to head for the witch’s cave.
The Half-beastman guards didn’t stop her; it seed they had already been notified.
The cave was crowded. Besides the witch, the Clan Leader, and several middle-aged Snow Tiger Beastman Warriors, there were also a few Beastman Warriors from the Black Wolf Tribe.
When she entered, the Snow Tiger Tribe Beastman Warriors all greeted her with smiles, and Wu Yue responded with equal enthusiasm.
Ye Duo sat off to the side, her face dark and sullen, but Wu Yue acted as though she hadn’t seen her at all.

With that, she turned to a middle-aged Black Wolf Beastman Warrior across from them. "This is the captain of the Black Wolf Tribe’s Hunting Team, Wolf Fang."
He was a Beastman Warrior with rugged features and an exceptionally muscular build, and he still managed to look quite imposing.
However, the scar on his face lent him an air of viciousness and ferocity.
Perhaps taking note of the witch’s high regard for Wu Yue, a smile appeared on the Beastman’s otherwise ferocious face. "Hello, young female. The Black Wolf Tribe has co to request your help.
Mud and rainwater flooded our tribe’s settlent, and all our caves have either collapsed or been buried.
We can dig new caves, but we have too many injured Beastn. That’s why we’ve sent our people to several different tribes to ask for aid.
I was the one sent to the Snow Tiger Tribe."
After a mont of silence, Wu Yue finally said, "I’m not a witch. I’m afraid I won’t be able to heal your people."
’Don’t go putting on a pedestal,’ she thought. ’I’m a total novice who doesn’t know anything. If I accidentally made soone worse, that would be a terrible sin.’
The witch’s profound gaze fell upon Wu Yue. "I already explained to him that I had originally intended to send Ye Duo. However, Ye Duo is still just a Witch Disciple and has not yet cultivated any Divine Power.
That’s when I thought of you. Yue, you know a great deal about herbs, don’t you?"
Wu Yue: "..."

Wu Yue nodded. "But what about the house construction?"
The witch chuckled. "The males have learned most of what they need to. You don’t have to worry. You can just check on their progress when you get back."
In the end, Wu Yue couldn’t refuse the witch’s arrangent. After all, she was a mber of the Snow Tiger Tribe now; she couldn’t just stand by and do nothing in a situation like this.
She inexplicably felt like she was becoming a pillar of the tribe.
