Yuan Lang sighed helplessly. "Looks like he just jumped straight down."

Wu Yue remarked, "As expected of a Silver rank Beastman Warrior. Is he just that arrogant, or is he *that* arrogant?"
’He just decides to go into freefall whenever he feels like it...’
Teng Kun scratched his head awkwardly from the side. "Um... I think my brother told to catch him just now, but I got distracted putting my things away and forgot."
Hearing this, all the Beastn stared at him with looks of sarcastic admiration. "One look is all it takes. Definitely his real brother."
Wu Yue patted his shoulder. "You did the right thing. If you’d tried to catch him, the mont he started twitching, you would’ve been crippled."
Hearing this, Teng Kun nodded gravely. "Yue, you’re the witch. Whatever you say is right."
Teng Qian piped up, "The last ti I fell, wasn’t I the one who cushioned you and the boss?
Look at . Am I crippled?"
Yuan Lang twisted the knife. "So damage isn’t visible on the outside."
Wu Yue turned her head to the side and chuckled mischievously.
’These three Beastn really love roasting each other!’
Driven by her humanitarian—or rather, *beast*manitarian—spirit, Wu Yue went over to check on the free-falling Beastman Warrior.
"He’s fine. As expected of a Silver Rank warrior, his constitution is incredible."
At these words, Teng Qian was instantly puffed up with pride. His head didn’t hurt, his back wasn’t sore—he felt like he could jump a few more tis without a problem.
Having shifted back to his Beastman form, Teng Qian viciously ruffled the fur on his little brother’s tiger head.
A nearby Beastman Warrior seed to spot sothing and asked, "Teng Qian, why is your palm so red? Did you hurt it on the way down? We could have Yue put so herbs on it for you."
Hearing this, the other Beastman Warriors all turned to look.
Sure enough, the Beastman’s palm was a little red and swollen.
Wu Yue looked at the concerned Beastman Warriors and smiled. "Don’t worry, he’s not injured. He just... overused it a little."

The Beastman Warriors: "..."
A flurry of complex and sympathetic gazes shot toward Teng Qian.
One of the Beastman Warriors walked up and patted Teng Qian’s shoulder. "The nights can be lonely, but doing it too often takes a toll on your body. You should probably be a little more careful."
The other Beastman Warriors were instantly led astray, nodding in unison. "A single Beastman... we get it."
Wu Yue: "..."
Teng Qian: "..."
Teng Kun: "..."
’So, just what kind of not-safe-for-cubs place did their minds wander off to?’
From the side, Yuan Lang shot a aningful glance at the dumbfounded trio.
’Truly,’ he thought, ’as long as *I* have a brain, that’s all that matters.’
After the commotion from the freefall, the Beastn split into groups and prepared to start digging.
This ti, however, sothing else caught Wu Yue’s eye. A particular Beastman Warrior stepped forward who was exceptionally slender and much shorter than the others.
"He’s a Beastman Warrior from the Rat Tribe," Yuan Lang explained. "His Father also traded a Beast Crystal for mbership in our Snow Tiger Tribe."
Wu Yue nodded, her eyes sparkling. "So, what’s he going to do?"
Yuan Lang gave a wry smile. "He’s going to determine the direction of our territory, of course. Then we dig. What would we do if we dug in the wrong direction?"
"I thought you’d be able to determine the direction from up top and just tunnel straight through."
Yuan Lang gently raised his large hand and patted her head. "You really overestimate us. Beastman Warriors aren’t quite that amazing yet."
