Seeing his beastman’s face all crumpled, Wu Yue nearly rolled on the floor laughing. This Beastman could be so cold and imposing one mont, and then have the personality of a goofy husky the next. It was enough to make her die of laughter.
The Snow Tiger Witch snorted, bent down to pick up the bowl of fish Wu Yue had set aside for him, and gave the young woman a kind smile. Then, his expression instantly shifted as he shot Yuan Lang a glare before ambling away.
Yuan Lang let out a sigh of relief. His deep eyes narrowed as he looked at the young woman in front of him, who was giggling uncontrollably. "You were blinking just now because the witch was behind ?"
Wu Yue nodded, then shot him a teasing look. "Don’t tell you thought I was winking at you?"
Yuan Lang looked confused. "Wink-ah?"
Wu Yue cleared her throat. "It’s a word from my holand, heh heh."
With that, she turned, dished up a bowl of fish, and handed it to him. "Here, eat up. This whole pot is for us."
After she finished eating, Wu Yue suddenly rembered the Beast Crystals the witch had previously rewarded her with. "With the Beast Crystals you got from this hunt, what rank will you be able to upgrade to?"
Since they both knew each other’s secrets, there was no need for them to hide anything when they spoke.
Speaking of the haul from this hunt, Yuan Lang was in an excellent mood. A smile played on his lips as he said, "For now, it’s enough for to advance to the Golden Rank. But I still need to strengthen my body, or I won’t be able to withstand the power of the Crystal Core."
