Wu Yue played along, flashing a dazzling smile that showed a perfect eight teeth. "Please, enlighten !"
The System adjusted its nonexistent little bow tie, lifted its little head, and said seriously, "This dirt is normally fine to walk on, but when it’s mixed with these yellow ant eggs, its adhesive properties beco incredibly strong.
When building houses, you can absolutely mix ant eggs and dirt to use as a bonding agent."
Wu Yue cooperated with a round of thunderous applause. "Wow, System, you’re so smart!"
The System chuckled and scratched its head with a small paw. "Oh, not at all. You’re giving too much praise."
After offering her praise, Wu Yue changed her boots, picked up the little Blue Fatty, and walked out of the tent.
"You’re awake?"
A Beastman’s voice sounded from the side. Wu Yue turned to look and jumped in surprise.
Three Beastn who looked like pandas were sitting outside her tent, sporting massive dark circles under their eyes.
"What did you guys do yesterday?"
’Go steal so chickens?’
Yuan Lang rubbed the bridge of his nose and stood up. Only then did Wu Yue notice that he had been sitting on a piece of Beast Skin.
"You rested here all night?"
Yuan Lang pursed his lips and nodded. "I was tornted by a shaless couple until the early morning. I only just got so rest a little while ago!"
’Shaless couple?’
For so reason, Wu Yue had a feeling he was definitely talking about Grandma Hua Shu and Uncle Yuan Qi.
But...
She sidled up to him secretively. "Yuan Lang, even though you aren’t the original, to them, you are still Yuan Lang of the Snow Tiger Tribe. You should be nicer to their parents!"
Seeing the "I’m just advising you to be kind" expression on her face, Yuan Lang’s handso face stiffened slightly. He leaned down and whispered in her ear, "I consider myself a very filial beast."

Seeing his humorless smile, Wu Yue quickly changed the subject. "So! Shouldn’t we discuss building the houses?"
Yuan Lang raised an eyebrow. "Have you thought of a good thod?"
Wu Yue nodded. "This matter has sothing to do with Teng Kun, actually."
With that, she looked behind him at the two Beastn who were drooling in their sleep, so out of it they didn’t even know what day it was.
Yuan Lang’s eyes lit up. "Could it be from when we built the cellar..."
Wu Yue nodded. "Yes. The type of dirt Teng Kun found when we built the cellar, the kind that can be fired into pottery. I think we can use it to make bricks and tiles."
Yuan Lang nodded, then turned and rcilessly kicked his two little brothers awake. "Get up. Ti to work."
The System, which had been catching up on sleep in Wu Yue’s backpack, reflexively poked its head out. A mont later, it sensed sothing wasn’t quite right and looked up at the Beastman and its host standing together.
’So ruthless. They’re a match made in heaven!’
The two Beastn wiped the drool from their mouths and stared blankly at their boss’s... foot.
"Wha... what’s goin’ on?" Teng Qian mumbled, still in a daze. His attempt to call out to his boss was so slurred that it ca out sounding completely wrong.
This particular form of address instantly sent Wu Yue’s mind into the gutter. She couldn’t help but glance at a certain unntionable part of the Beastman beside her, her gaze now full of profound aning as it darted back and forth between Yuan Lang and Teng Qian.
That look, as if she had just uncovered so illicit affair, made Yuan Lang freeze!
His eyes darkened as he looked at the little female behind him. "What sort of unhealthy things are you thinking about in that head of yours?"
Wu Yue stiffened. She retracted her prying little gaze and giggled. "Nothing, nothing! Hehe!"
That creepy laugh instantly shocked Teng Qian and Teng Kun out of their daze.
"Boss, didn’t you say it was ti to work? What work? Just give the order!"
Yuan Lang shot a aningful look at a guilty-looking Wu Yue. "You should ask Yue. She says she has a way to make bricks."
Wu Yue gave an ingratiating smile and turned to Teng Kun. "Rember that clay you found when we were building the cellar, the kind that can be fired into crude pottery?"
Teng Kun scratched his head, completely bewildered. "I did sothing that important?"
Wu Yue deadpanned, "Don’t doubt it. You didn’t fire any pottery, but you did discover that dirt."
After shooting Teng Kun a look of utter disdain, she led the Three Beasts toward the back mountain where the cellar was built. "Let’s go have a look first," she said to Yuan Lang. "Your little brother’s brain capacity is too limited."
Although the cellar no longer held any food, the Half-beastman Warriors still passed by it on their patrols, so it hadn’t been damaged by any wild animals.
