It was unclear who shouted it, but the crowd of tribespeople surrounding the house parted to form a path. The slightly stooped Snow Tiger Witch walked through, leaning on his witch’s wand.
The mont he saw the tall house before him, a light sparked in his profound eyes.
"Is this the house you’ve built?"
He looked directly at Wu Yue as he spoke.
Wu Yue nodded. "Yes, it is."
Beside them, the Snow Tiger Tribe Leader stared at the house, which was built stone by stone, and began to doubt its sturdiness. He wasn’t the only one; quite a few of the Beastman Warriors shared his skepticism.
Wu Yue naturally sensed their hesitation. She turned toward the Hunting Team. "Would any of our tribesn like to test the sturdiness of this house?"
The males all looked at each other.
Finally, Shi Lin stepped forward, holding a Stone Spear. He smiled at Wu Yue and said, "I’ll do it, Yue."
However, as he was about to step forward, a tall, sturdy Beastman Warrior behind him stopped him.
The Beastman Warrior stepped out and said, "I’m the strongest in the tribe. Let try."
Wu Yue nodded. "Alright."
The Beastman handed his Stone Spear to Shi Lin, who was standing nearby, and strode over to the wall.
He casually reached out and gave it a push.
Amusent flickered in the eyes of the tribespeople. As far as they were concerned, a house piled up from small stones was bound to topple with a single push.
But to their disappointnt, no matter how hard the brawny Beastman pushed, the wall didn’t so much as tremble, let alone collapse.
Now, it wasn’t just the mbers of the Snow Tiger Tribe; even the Scorpion Tribe’s Beastman Warriors, who were hiding and spying from a distance, had looks of utter astonishnt on their faces.
"It looks pretty sturdy after all!"
"Just standing there and pushing is useless! Try charging it!"
one of the tribesn shouted.
Hearing this, the Beastman Warrior pulled his large hands back from the wall. He retreated a dozen or so steps, let out a great roar, and charged.
BAM!
A dull thud echoed through the air, followed by a dead silence in front of the house.
The Beastman’s charge hadn’t caused any damage whatsoever to the wall of piled stones, but...
Everyone’s gaze shifted downward to the brawny Beastman Warrior, who was now squatting in the corner, clutching a large lump on his head and whimpering. A flicker of sympathy appeared in their eyes.
