Stirring up trouble?! We almost got caught!" Lao Si grew angrier as he spoke, and with a loud bang, he slamd his bowl to the ground, scattering rice everywhere.
The tall man watched the scene, anger rising in him as well. He imdiately stood up and threw his chopsticks away furiously.
"I’ve had enough of you! Lao Si, you tell —what kind of attitude do you have toward ? Can you really pin all the bla for this incident on ? Let ask you, who fired the gun back then? Was it ? It was one of your useless lackeys who accidentally pulled the trigger! If it weren’t for him, we wouldn’t have had to flee back like dogs! Let tell you sothing—you’re nothing but lucky. If it hadn’t been for that poor bastard showing up at just the right ti to redirect the danger, do you think your skills would’ve gotten us out of there? No chance!" The tall man cursed vehently for a long ti.
"Who was that person? Are they in the sa line of work as us?" Mu Qiankun asked while stroking his chin.
"No idea," the tall man shrugged. "Why do you care what they do? As long as they’re not connected to us and don’t interfere with our business, they can do whatever they want."
"Not interfere? Really?!" Lao Si dropped into a chair, crossed his legs, and picked at his teeth with a toothpick. "If you think that doesn’t interfere, then think again! Don’t believe ? Send soone to investigate! That area is definitely sealed off by now!"
"What are we going to do?" Mu Qiankun said anxiously. "The current market conditions are perfect; if we can get the goods now, we’ll fetch great prices. But if we fail, all we’ll be doing is watching others make money!"

When An Hao returned from visiting the hospital, she took a quick shower and lay down on her bed to rest.
Today felt like she had lived through two completely opposite extres in life.
Fortunately, it wasn’t Qin Jian lying in that hospital bed; if it were him, she probably wouldn’t be able to sleep at all right now.
An Hao closed her eyes and quickly drifted into deep sleep.
It was unclear how long she had been asleep, but suddenly she felt the mattress on one side of the bed sink slowly. Just as she was about to open her eyes, she felt a heavy weight pressing her body down tightly.
Imdiately after, a pair of slightly cold lips captured her own.
