Chapter 1817: Chapter 1816: I’m Here for the dical Expenses
This family isn’t just referring to their own family, it includes An Hao’s father and younger brother.
An Ping is particularly attentive to his two little nephews. Early in the morning, he carried a big basket of fresh vegetables on his tricycle from his company and rode all the way to the military compound.
“Oh my gosh! Are you planning to move your company in here?” An Hao was almost scared by the sight of the basket, “There are enough vegetables here for us to eat for half a month. No, I guess we won’t even finish them in half a month.”
“Take your ti eating! These vegetables were just brought in early this morning, they’re very fresh!” An Ping said as he wiped the sweat dripping down his forehead.
“You’re really thoughtful.” Zhang Yun handed a mug of water to An Ping, “Have so water and take a rest!”
“I’m not tired.” An Ping gulped down the water in one go, handed the mug back to An Hao, and took out two bulging red envelopes from his pocket, “Sis, these are for my two little nephews!”
An Hao accepted it, weighed it in her hand, “It’s quite heavy! Did you strike it rich?”
“Thanks to your good fortune! Business is going pretty well!” An Ping smiled, beaming with happiness.
“You’re quite considerate.” An Hao said politely and put away the red envelopes, “How co you’re the only one who ca, I didn’t see Dad?”
“Dad said there’s sothing at ho, so he couldn’t co. So, it’s just today.” An Ping said.
“Sothing going on? What could possibly be happening at ho now?” An Hao was puzzled. The family garden wasn’t in use anymore, An Ping started a company in the city and rarely went back.
With all the children not around, An Shuchao should be living an easy life, how could there be anything happening?
“I don’t know either! I just talked to Dad on the phone a few days ago, he said everything at ho was fine. He told us not to worry!” An Ping said.
“Have you gone back to visit recently?” An Hao was worried, since she had the baby, there had been one thing after another, taking up most of her ti and energy, so she hadn’t gone back to the village much.
“No, I haven’t.” An Ping shook his head, his vegetable business was so booming that he couldn’t find the ti.
“If you’re worried sothing might happen at ho, go back and have a look!” Qin Jian felt guilty, “I haven’t been back for a long ti either! I’ll go with you when the ti cos!”
“Dad said there’s nothing wrong at ho! He told us not to go back too often!”
The more An Ping said this, the more An Hao felt uneasy. She made up her mind that when the child was a month old, and if she had so days off, she would go ho to have a look.
At lunchti, Qin Jian received an ergency call from the army and left without even eating.
An Ping was also quite busy and hurried back to his company after lunch.
Zhang Yun packed so food and gave it to An Ping to take with him, asking An Hao to send him off out of the compound.
“Sis, you should head back! When you and brother-in-law go back ho, rember to let know! I’ll go back too!” Standing at the gate of the military district, An Ping bid farewell to An Hao.
“Alright. Take care of yourself!” An Hao handed the stuff to An Ping, “Be careful on the road.”
An Ping pedaled away on his tricycle, An Hao turned around and went back, hearing soone behind calling her: “Sis!”
An Hao turned around, surprisingly, the person standing in front of her was An Hui, who Qin Jian had sent to the police station a while back.
“It’s you? What do you want with ?”
An Hui hunched his shoulders and sniffled, “Sis! I’m here to ask for my dical expenses!”
An Hao thought she heard wrong, “Your dical expenses? From ?”
“Yes.” An Hui smiled shalessly, “That night, it was your car that hit !”
