The shrill ringing of the phone sliced through the room. Ethan, still breathing heavily and enraged by the interruption, snatched the phone without looking at the caller ID.
"What the hell do you want!?" Ethan answered, his voice a low, furious snarl.
Jason’s desperate voice sounded imdiately through the speaker. "Boss! Thank God, you answered! It’s Cassandra, boss, we can’t locate her."
At the sound of the panic in Jason’s voice, Ethan’s passion instantly vanished. His face went hard, turning serious and murderous in an instant. Sarah, who was behind him, still trying to annoy him with kisses and nuzzles, imdiately stopped and withdrew, scared by the sudden, terrifying rage radiating from him.
Ethan walked away from her toward the door, stepping outside onto the landing to speak in private.
"Tell what the hell you are saying...!" Ethan demanded, his tone icy.
"I’m sorry, Boss," Jason pleaded, his voice cracking. "As soon as you called us, we tried to contact Cassandra, and we haven’t been able to do it. It’s all my fault. Today we were supposed to finish conquering the gangs, and it was going to be bloody. I told her to stay in the mansion so she would be protected, because I didn’t want any targets against her. I never expected those damn sons of bitches would be the ones to attack us directly."
"Did you already send people to check?" Ethan asked, his voice flat with suppressed violence.
"Yes, Boss. I didn’t go personally because I was afraid we would be recognized. I sent two of Santiago’s n," Jason explained, his voice thick with guilt. "However, they couldn’t even get near the security fence. They attacked them with gunfire as soon as they approached. They killed one, and the second is now in the ergency room with six shots to the chest, right next to Santiago, who also has three."
"What the hell does Santiago have to do with this? How did he get hurt if he wasn’t there?" Ethan demanded, his confusion montarily overriding his rage.
"Perhaps you didn’t see it, Boss," Jason quickly explained. "But during our rescue of you at the warehouse, he led an assault to save you and was wounded by Rhodes’ n."
A cold, absolute fury settled over Ethan. "What the hell are you waiting for? Wipe out all those sons of bitches! Don’t leave a single idiot alive, dammit...!!" Ethan roared into the phone.
"I feel I have to refuse that order, Boss," Jason said, his voice laced with the desperate pleading of a subordinate who knows the tactical reality. "I know you’re upset, but soone has to be reasonable here. That place is a damn fortress, manned by Celestial and the people inside. As soon as we approach and start shooting, not only Celestial will attack us, but the army, the police, the navy, SWAT, SEALs will send everything they can to exterminate us. It’s impossible for us to enter there with just our people. Plus, out of the 250 n we had, 30 died in your rescue and another 50 were wounded. So we are screwed."
Ethan slamd his fist against the apartnt building’s wall. The wall cracked; his fist had made a huge hole in the wall. "You’re right," Ethan conceded, the admission costing him everything. "Thanks for letting know. Wait for instructions. If they call or contact us in any way, call imdiately." Ethan ordered Jason before hanging up.

Instead of jealousy, Sarah felt an inexplicable emotion blending excitent, lust, and a thrilling sense of danger. She ignored the obvious danger and simply asked him what he was going to do.
"I started this, so no matter what happens, I have to go resolve it, no matter the cost," Ethan declared.
"I want to go with you," Sarah said, surprising Ethan, who hadn’t expected her to say that, considering another woman was involved and the danger was high.
"This won’t be a ga," Ethan warned her. "We could die, even with the slightest mistake."
"I don’t care," Sarah insisted. "I’m completely horny" she stopped, blushed, coughed, and corrected herself. "Decided," she said with conviction.
Ethan laughed, a genuine, dark sound. "Alright, alright," Ethan relented. "Put on a skirt, don’t wear any underwear, and let’s go screw up the world, haha. Sounds great," Ethan said, a dangerous glint returning to his eye.
"Since everything is going to hell," Ethan muttered to himself, letting out a heavy sigh, "let it go to hell."
Sarah erged from the apartnt. She was wearing a mini-skirt and a blouse, along with a cute matching purse, but contrasted by athletic running shoes.
Ethan turned and looked at her footwear. "If I have to run, I’d rather not wear heels, I hope you don’t mind," Sarah said, defending her choice.
"You look beautiful, don’t worry," Ethan said, his voice now serious. "From this mont on, everything that cos will be too complicated and dangerous. Your parents are on their way, so this is your last chance. Go inside and let’s pretend this never happened. I’ll co back, and we can do less suicidal crazy things another day."
"NO!!" Sarah responded firmly. She walked decisively toward Ethan, took his hand, and placed it deliberately on her wet pussy. "That’s how decided I am," she declared, her eyes blazing with reckless excitent.
