Inside the Domain of the Apocalypse...

Seeing what had happened at the Death Valley, Camazotz inevitably smiled.

For him, it proved that ditching Thirteen had been the correct decision. Had he stayed, he would’ve been the one tangled into that ss.

"Hahaha! You sure are sothing, Thirteen," Camazotz said with a smirk. "You should’ve seen the look on Apollyon’s face after you deserted him. It was priceless!"

While Camazotz reveled in the chaos of the situation, Sahard did not. How could offending one of the seven Fiends of Solterra be funny?

As a Majin Prince, Sahard belonged at the top when it ca to strength. But how could he possibly deal with the wrath of a Fiend? Camazotz dared to laugh only because he hadn’t been there.

"M-Master, are you sure it’s alright that we left like that?" Sahard asked anxiously. "We might have offended Sir Apollyon."

The teenage boy glanced at Sahard before lightly rubbing Tiona’s head with his finger.

"Are you alright, Tiona?" Thirteen asked.

The black snake nodded and flicked her tongue twice before nudging Thirteen’s cheek with her head.

She had full faith toward her Master, and frankly, his rejection of Apollyon’s proposal to trade her in for his help made her ecstatic.

After confirming that nothing was wrong with her, the teenage boy finally addressed Sahard’s question.

"Apollyon’s proposal is clearly a test," Thirteen said. "He knew I will not surrender Tiona, and he must’ve expected my answer too. He might be planning to use it as an excuse to detain or trap in Death Valley until I agree to so of his demands."

Camazotz crossed his arms over his chest, while Sahard’s frown deepened.

"So what do you plan to do now?" Camazotz asked.

"I already expected sothing like this would happen. In any case, I’ve already achieved my goal," Thirteen replied. "I will ask tatron to send to a place far from Death Valley so Apollyon can’t do anything about . Still... further insurance must be made."

He already knew that the Angel of Death could see, hear, and feel whatever Tiona was feeling.

So it might not be impossible for the Fiend to teleport to her location at will.

With this in mind, Thirteen thought of asking tatron to cast whatever enchantnt to protect Tiona from the Fallen Angel’s spying.

The last thing he wanted was for Apollyon to appear right next to him after his escape, drag him back to Death Valley, and trap him there with no easy way out.

"Don’t worry about Apollyon," Thirteen said to the anxious Majin Prince. "If he wants to find , he will have no choice but to leave Death Valley, which is exactly part of my plan."

"As expected of you, Thirteen." Camazotz smirked. "So you offended him on purpose to force him out of his isolation just to find you?"

"That’s right." Thirteen nodded. "Apollyon has no intention of intervene in Zaphiel’s plans. But he is also a very prideful individual. He will not be able to sit still, knowing that I managed to escape right under his nose.

"Ah, just in case he wasn’t offended enough with what I did, I’ll write a letter to mock and curse him for being stupid enough to let get away so easily."

The corner of Sahard’s lips twitched. His new Master seed hell-bent to offend the Fallen Angel of Death.

"I think you’re the only one in the world who has the guts to burn bridges with Apollyon." Camazotz laughed. "But I’m sure that it’s all part of the plan, right?"

Thirteen nodded. "Exactly. I also find the thought of making a Fiend dance in the palm of my hand quite funny."

Sahard didn’t know if he should laugh or cry at his Master’s boldness.

For a brief mont, he thought that not accompanying Thirteen this ti around might be a good choice.

As if reading his mind, the Death Bat lightly patted Sahard’s shoulder.

"You’ll get used to it." Camazotz smirked. "Being with Thirteen is like playing a high risk, high reward ga. If you survive, you’ll definitely make a killing."

"And if I don’t survive?" Sahard asked.

Camazotz replied to his question by making a gesture of slitting his own throat.

Sahard sighed helplessly because he might have been too quick in his desire to show Thirteen his loyalty and determination.

"Well, don’t worry about it," Camazotz comnted. "Thirteen always like to make these big gambles. And as far as I rember, he hasn’t lost a single one of them."

"But there’s a first ti for everything, right?" Sahard asked back.

"Don’t raise a Death Flag," Camazotz stated in a serious tone. "We don’t do that here."

Tiona nodded in agreent. The only flag that was allowed to be raised was the black flag that she owned, summoning her parade of a hundred demons.

"Anyway, I need to talk to tatron," Thirteen said. "See you guys later."

Thirteen didn’t even bother to wait for their reply before transferring to the personal domain of the God of the Apocalypse.

Just like all the mbers of their organization, he laso had his own private place.

However, Thirteen’s was bigger than the others because he was given special treatnt by the leader of their organization.

"You’ve co," tatron said as soon as Thirteen appeared in his domain.

"Yes," Thirteen replied. "I need your help."

tatron definitely knew what had happened in the Death Valley. The God of the Apocalypse kept tabs on the movents of the mbers of his organization, so he was well inford about their activities.

"So, where do you plan to go next?" tatron asked after lightly tapping Tiona’s head with his finger. "I already placed an enchantnt to shield her from Apollyon’s influences.

"But the Fallen Angel can still control the Domini Mortis at will, so he might order Tiona to return to Death Valley by force, leaving you no choice but to follow her."

The teenage boy had sensed the hint of amusent in tatron’s tone, which ant that he found Thirteen’s situation quite funny.

"For now, I want you to bring to where Erica, Shana, and Sherry are," Thirteen replied. "I want to know what they’re doing."

"Hmmm..." tatron rubbed his chin. "Very well. But, I’ll ask you to run a little errand for ."

"What is it?" Thirteen asked.

"Nothing much." tatron smiled innocently.

But the teenage boy could feel it.

Behind that innocent smile was sothing dark, which made him feel a little anxious because this was an errand that the God of the Apocalypse had asked as a favor in exchange for his help.
