Sherry was peacefully tending the fire when a portal abruptly appeared right beside her.
As soon as she felt the disruption in the air, she jumped into a fighting stance and simultaneously summoned her two Avatars—the Adamantine Blade Panther, Mors, and the Adamantine Falcon, Ace.
Both Avatars had beco Rank 7 Sovereigns, for Thirteen made sure that they’d be strong enough to protect his lover.
Other Wanderers nearby Sherry also took their own fighting stances and summoned their avatars for battle.
To their surprise, a familiar face erged out of the portal, making them wonder if their eyes were deceiving them. Could it be a Jinn that could use illusions to fool their senses?
As for Sherry, as soon as she saw Zion, her vigilant stance fell apart.
She then imdiately ran to hug him, then held him tight.
"You made the right decision, Sherry," Thirteen said as he lightly patted her head. "I’m glad you’re always this alert when you’re in Solterra."
Sahard also stepped out of the portal. As Thirteen’s recent official bodyguard, he hovered around the other at all tis.
Although still anxious about the incident with the Fallen Angel of Death, he still believed that his Master knew what he was doing.
The Majin Prince then glanced at the dozens of Wanderers in the distance, most of which looking at them with wary gazes.
"Calm down, everyone," Thirteen stated before things spiralled out of control. "It’s , Zion Leventis. This Majin Prince beside is an ally. Don’t be afraid. He won’t hurt you."
After they personally heard Zion state his identity, the Wanderers finally lowered their guard, but kept their Avatars close.
They knew Thirteen had so Majin Princes and Princesses as allies from the war in the Cygni Continent, and they were also familiar with their faces, especially the Death Bat, Camazotz.
But this was Sahard’s first appearance, so they inevitably felt wary of the Majin Prince. The object of their vigilance paid no care and only gave them a casual glance with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Where are Erica and Shana?" Thirteen then kissed Sherry’s cheek and pulled back to look at her face.
"They are out hunting with the other Wanderers," Sherry answered.
Thirteen nodded before asking another question. "By the way, have you t the Fiend of Many Faces, Dantanian?"
"I think we did." Sherry blinked. "But I can’t rember."
The teenage boy knew Dantanian had the power to erase the mory of those he interacted with, so he wasn’t surprised. Thanks to this power, it didn’t matter how many people he crossed paths with in Solterra. No one could ever rember his face, which gave birth to the rumor that he had many faces.
"Then do you rember anything he said?" Thirteen asked.
"No." Sherry shook her head. "Maybe Erica and Shana know sothing."
"I see." Thirteen nodded. "Let’s just wait for them to return. Have you had breakfast already?"
"Not yet." Sherry smiled. "Let’s have breakfast together?"
"Sounds good."
"Un!"
Thirteen, Roland, and Derek were sent to the western edge of the continent, while Sherry, Erica, and Shana were sent to the east.
Due to ti differences, they rarely et at the Domain of the Apocalypse.
Sherry had been in the middle of cooking porridge when Zion arrived, so she returned to her task, leaving the teenage boy to talk to the other Wanderers.
His presence had a calming effect on the teenagers, especially those who were having their First Wandering.
This ti, the God of Wanderers had mobilized everyone in order to thwart Zaphiel’s plan from obtaining the keys to Pandora’s treasury.
Of course, he wasn’t really expecting them to succeed. But by placing them in strategic places, so of them might achieve a desired result, which would benefit all the Wanderers as a whole.
Now that Thirteen had managed to acquire one of the keys of the treasury, The One had changed the mission from stopping the Celestial Army to making the Wanderers head in a safer location. He also gave them manageable missions to make them stronger.
Although these "safe locations" weren’t exactly safe, it was much better than facing off against the Celestial Army.
After waiting for nearly two hours, Erica, Shana, and the Wanderer Hunting Parties finally returned to their camp.
They had hunted quite a fair bit of monsters, which were being pulled by the wooden wagons that they had brought alongside them.
For Wanderers who had been in many missions, building a wooden wagon was one of the basic skills they would gain on their third wandering.
When Erica and Shana saw Zion, the two were shocked but also happy to see him again.
Because of this, the other Wanderers could only look in envy at the teenage boy, whom they believed was the true winner in life.
Not only was Zion rich and had the background of the most powerful family in Pangea, he was also blessed with five beautiful ladies as future wives.
After eating their breakfast, Erica and Shana told Zion everything they had experienced during their mission.
On the other hand, Thirteen refrained from sharing much, planning to temporarily keep the existence of the key a secret.
He would only tell his lovers about it once they were inside the mobile fortress, not wanting to risk a Wanderer potentially overhearing their conversation through so eavesdropping skill.
After confirming that Erica and Shana also didn’t have any recollection of eting Dantanian, Thirteen sighed internally.
Among the Fiends, he believed that he had a higher chance of convincing Dantanian to assist him in his plan to ss with Zaphiel’s plans.
In fact, the reason why he had asked his allies to spread a rumor about him all over Solterra was to let Dantanian know about his na.
That way, he would co to seek Zion on his own accord, allowing the teenage boy to et the most elusive mber of the Seven Fiends of Solterra.
Also, if push cos to shove, Dantanian could also help him travel to the locations of the other keys, which would raise their chances of stopping Zaphiel and his allies from fulfilling their ambition to break the fragile balance of the world.
