"So that's the current situation," Thirteen said to Evuvug and Gwenn, who both patiently listened to his explanation.
"You want us to take over the beetles and turn them into your personal army?" Evuvug asked.
"Not all of them," Thirteen replied. "We'll only take the Brood Beetles with us since they're the only ones who could give birth to beetles. As for the rest, just make them go berserk and fight against each other.
"The timing must be perfect. We don't want the Cygni Coalition and the Central Governnt to beco suspicious."
Evuvug and Gwenn exchanged a quick glance before nodding in agreent. These beetles weren't part of their colony, so they were as good as strangers to them.
Even Jinns had their own factions in the Hierarchy, and most of them were antagonistic with each other.
According to Evuvug, their Master was a Majin King who wished to cross over to Pangea.
But since Thirteen damaged the Dinsional Gate using Nautilus' main cannons, the ti for their Master's descent upon this world was delayed.
Truth be told, the Earth Dragons were even contemplating whether they should continue guarding the gate or not.
After all, if Thirteen destroyed the gate, they would be free from their Master's control, and they no longer need to worry about him.
In the end, the three Earth Dragons decided to wait until the Cygni Invasion had concluded before making their decision.
"Let's negotiate," Evuvug said. "I want my and Gwenn's freedom. I'm willing to listen to any of your conditions as long as you agree to set us free."
"Sure," Thirteen replied. "But the condition is that you will never lie to , and you will obey my orders without fail. If you do that, you'll have your freedom back in ten years. Lastly, you are not allowed to harm , my family, and my friends whether consciously or subconsciously."
Thirteen's reply surprised Evuvug, for it thought the young man would reject its proposal. Ten years might seem like a long ti for humans, but for Jinns, it wasn't a big deal.
Evuvug could live over a thousand years, so spending a decade working for its freedom wasn't a big deal to it.
"You have a deal!" Evuvug said in a hurry.
It feared Thirteen would go back on his word and change the conditions of their agreent.
"Good." Thirteen nodded. "tatron, if you can kindly form a binding contract, please?"
"Of course." tatron instantly appeared beside Thirteen, already holding a contract that seed to have been prepared beforehand. "Just drop your blood here and here, Evuvug. Gwenn, this other contract is for you."
The two Brain Beetles had strong psychic powers, so they only needed to glance at the contract to know its contents even without flipping the pages.
After confirming there weren't any traps in the contract, they offered their blood to make it binding.
The other Monsters, whom Thirteen had been keeping inside his Domain, like Harahon (Rank 7 Umbrafang), Khan (Rank 8 Grievefoot), and Lord Zorca (Rank 8 Goblin Emperor), glanced at each other.
The three of them were thinking of the sa thing.
If Evuvug and Gwenn could get their freedom, then what was stopping them from getting their own?
There shouldn't be any discrimination between captives, right?
"Um, Zion, my friend. How's it going?" Harahon, the weakest among the three, approached the teenage boy with an ingratiating smile plastered on its face.
The Demi-human Roc, Zed, who had already ford a contract with Thirteen, looked at Harahon with amusent.
Just like the Goblin Emperor and the Grievefoot, it was a Rank 8 Sovereign.
A powerhouse that could move unhindered in Pangea with its speed and power.
Even so, he had acknowledged that a weak human had defeated him and his comrades in the Rigel Continent. That said, he might be the one who respected Zion the most among all the forr captives.
"Hey, Hara, What's up?" Thirteen, who already knew what kind of monkey business the Umbrafang was going to propose to him, smiled.
The teenage boy had been aiming for this mont from the very start, even before he accepted Evuvug's proposal to regain its freedom.
"I heard a bit from your chat with Evuvug a while ago," Harahon said. "I want to negotiate for my freedom as well."
"Sure," Thirteen replied. "I'll give you the sa term as Evuvug and Gwenn. Serve loyally for ten years, and you will regain your freedom."
"Nice!" Harahon laughed. "Where do I sign?"
"Here you go." tatron, who had already prepared a contract for all of the captive monsters inside Thirteen's domain, handed the contract to Harahon.
"Um, I can't read human language." Harahon coughed in embarrassnt.
Thirteen smiled. "Don't worry. You don't have to read anything. Just drop your blood, and we're done."
"I can trust you, right?" Harahon asked.
Thirteen chuckled. "Of course, you can. It's not like I tweaked the contract or anything."
The teenage boy and the God of the Apocalypse smirked at each other because they knew that Harahon and the rest couldn't understand written text by humans.
Fortunately, the System of Cannon Fodders didn't accept tatron's proposal of tweaking the contract for the pitiful monsters.
"Okay, I'm done!" Harahon said proudly after he finished dropping his blood on the contract.
"I want a contract as well!" Khan stated.
"Give one too!" Lord Zorca declared.
"Of course," Thirteen replied. "Everyone gets a contract. No need to rush."
It was not only the three powerful monsters that signed the contract.
All of their subordinates, whom Thirteen had taken captive, also signed one.
tatron smiled wryly. The agreent that he had made with Thirteen was now null and void after the teenage boy negotiated with him.
His proposal wasn't bad, and after pondering for a while, tatron deed that it was a worthy investnt.
Because of this, he allowed Thirteen to command the powerful monsters, who had now officially beco part of his forces.
As for how the teenage boy planned to use them, he would still need to iron out the details with Laplace and Demon and The One.
They had agreed to allow Tiona, Giga, Rocky, Blacky, Hercules, and the rest of Thirteen's Monster Army to roam Pangea as an exception to the rule.
Originally, the only way for these monsters to cross over was through a Dinsional Gate that the Jinns used to invade Pangea.
While his monster army could go anywhere in the world, his new comrades were not allowed to do that.
Only Evuvug and Gwenn could do it.
The Brain Beetle had crossed over to the Pangea through a gate, while Gwenn was born in Pangea.
As such, Thirteen could take them without problems.
"Rocky, make sure to take care of our new allies," Thirteen said to the Hellfire Bal-Boa.
Rocky nodded and registered Evuvug and Gwenn as allies that he could easily take in and take out of his Mobile Fortress.
Once the Brain and Overlord Beetle had safely entered his space, Rocky disappeared and returned to Zion's personal domain.
"Give a few days," Thirteen said to Harahon, Khan, and Lord Zorca. "I'll send you guys back to Solterra once I'm done with my business."
Without another word, Thirteen returned to the real world.
Now that he had acquired Evuvug's and Gwenn's services and loyalty, dealing with the Beetles would be now a walk in the park.
