"We have my grandfather, Arthur Leventis, on our side," Thirteen said. "There's nothing to worry about. Just believe , and follow my lead."
After careful consideration, all the defenders of Terracotta City decided to follow Thirteen's lead to wipe out the Insect Nest, whose inhabitants had killed many of their comrades.
The number of people led by Zion now was a little over five thousand, which was a sizable raiding force.
Despite knowing that he was just a token figurehead in this ragtag militia, Arthur played his role with a confident look on his face.
His no-good grandson had briefed him that he had secured Evuvug's cooperation, which made the corner of Arthur's lips twitch.
The Brain Beetle had been the nightmare of the Wanderers during the Rigel Invasion. But now that it was working for their side, the Patriarch of the Leventis Family felt more confident about this operation.
Arthur already knew that Zion had many secrets.
Even now, he still didn't know if the teenage boy was truly his grandson.
If soone were to tell him that his grandson was possessed by an evil spirit, he would not think twice before believing them.
There was simply no person in both Pangea and Solterra who could achieve Zion's feats.
He was their family's treasure.
Although he didn't want to admit it, he was even starting to feel anxious about the teenage boy's claims that soon, Gerald's family line would beco the Main Branch of the Leventis Family, and the one on Arthur's side would beco the Branch Family.
An hour later, hundreds of transport vehicles moved out of the destroyed Terracotta City.
Hundreds of Flying Avatars soared the sky, scouting the periphery to ensure that they wouldn't get ambushed by other monsters in the area.
While all of this was happening, Thirteen held a quick discussion with Rocky, Evuvug, and Gwenn, telling them to proceed with the mission.
As soon as the order was given, the Brain Beetle used its mind control powers to take over the senses of the Brood Beetles, who were spawning eggs for the Beetle Army.
The Brood Queen, which was a Rank 5 Sovereign, suddenly found itself wrestling control over its colony with a more powerful monster who had attacked it without warning.
Gwenn ended the Brood Queen's misery by putting it under its control.
After waiting for nearly half an hour, the Brood Queen screeched, ordering its army to face the humans who were only two miles away from their nest.
Evuvug had already taken control of the Rank 4 Overlords, who were leading the insect armies to battle.
Thirteen could have captured the entire nest, but people would get suspicious if the beetles suddenly disappeared from the picture.
As such, he needed to use them as a sacrifice, not only to hide his plans but also to make himself look good in front of the dia.
"Beetles at two o'clock!" Colbert reported through the intercom, alerting everyone that the beetle army was now moving.
"Follow the plan that we have agreed on," Thirteen stated. "The 69th Battalion will deal with the Bombardier Beetles. Everyone else will deal with the Blister Beetles!"

The combined armies spread out, forming an arrow on the ground.
The Humvees and Tanks were at the front, while the transport vehicles were at the rear.
They would be using the vehicles as shields and attack the enemies from a distance.
Their land avatars would serve as their first line of defense, ready to et the Blister Beetles, who were now charging in their direction.
"Targets within range," Sherry said as she looked at the radar inside Thirteen's Humvee, which now served as the command center of his army.
"Open fire!" Thirteen ordered.
As soon as the order was given, the tanks and the machine guns roared to life.
Explosions spread in the surroundings as the people on the back simultaneously launched artillery strikes.
At the front of the battlefield, Rein and the Bee Bee Cee crew hosted a live broadcast once more.
They were under the protection of the Legionnaires and Sherry's parents, so they could report without worrying about their safety.
"Hey, why are those monsters fighting among themselves?" The Commander of Terracota City noticed that the "Captain-Class Monsters" in charge of the Beetle Army started attacking their comrades.
This caused chaos and confusion in the monster army's formation, which the Wanderers didn't miss.
"It doesn't matter, Sir," one of the Captains replied. "We're here to kill them, so let's just kill them!"
The Commander nodded because his subordinate was right. The monsters fighting amongst themselves was advantageous to them, lowering the casualties on their side.
But Zion had no intention of having any casualties among his soldiers.
He had ordered Evuvug to mind control the monsters that were approaching the human army and make them attack their own comrades.
Although they were starting to have doubts and suspicions, none of the Wanderers voiced their concern.
They just continued with their bombardnt, raining death upon those that were hit by their machinegun, and artillery shells.
The Bombardier Beetles, who were at the rear of the Beetle Formation, had also gone into chaos.
So of them stopped moving completely, allowing the 69th Battalion to annihilate them without problems.
"Sir, why are they not firing at us?" one of the new recruits asked. "They're not moving."
"It's because the Commander is using a secret weapon," Cristopher replied. "Stop asking questions and focus more on killing!"
Thirteen had already briefed Cristopher, Colbert, Clark, Char, and Vincent about Evuvug's participation in the battle.
So even when the beetles started acting weird, they understood what was happening from the get-go.
"Zion is really scary," Clark said in a volu that only Char could hear.
"Right," Char comnted. "Good thing, we're not his enemy."
Clark smiled wryly because he knew that the Ashford Clan had chosen to beco enemies with Zion after the Cygni Invasion ended.
The only reason why he wasn't panicking right now was that Zion promised to not hurt his family in exchange for becoming his subordinate.
How could anyone in Pangea antagonize soone who could casually order Evuvug to mind control their people?
He had also seen the other monsters inside the Order of the Apocalypse.
The teenage boy had a Majin Prince, two Majin Princess, and Rank 8 Sovereigns as allies.
There was also Cranky, whom Clark believed to be taking a nap beside Thirteen's monunt at this mont.
If he could summon those powerful allies in Pangea, all of humanity would have no choice but to bow their heads in submission.
'Fortunately, he can't bring them here,' Clark thought as he wiped the beads of sweat that had now ford on his forehead. 'Otherwise, he would beco the ruler of this world.'
He once asked Thirteen what his end goal was, and the teenage boy said sothing that made Clark think that he was just pranking him.
"I intend to fight against a God and make the Goddess of Fate apologize to my people."
Those were the words the teenage boy had told him back then.
Clark didn't understand who these Gods were, so he just assud Zion was talking about the Celestials and Fiends of Solterra.
The Wanderers treated them as Gods and worshipped them in their temples.
As for the Goddess of Fate apologizing to him, Clark assud that the teenage boy might be referring to the Priestess of so Goddess whom he hadn't t before.
The thought of Zion referring to existences like tatron and The One didn't cross the young man's mind.
After all, how could Zion possibly defeat those beings who could decide the fate of the world with just a snap of their fingers?
