Truth be told, looking closely at him, even though Lorze was dressed extrely casually, he gave off a very clean, crisp vibe. Especially that utterly shaless, handso face of his—it looked as if he was biologically engineered purely to be a wealthy older woman's sugar baby. Even Xue Yi had to reluctantly admit he was genuinely pretty damn hot.
But why was his personality so exactly like a manipulative fuckboy who just loved stringing girls along?
Is it really that hard to just answer a simple question about Umbreon?
She wanted to see what kind of bullshit excuse this bastard could possibly co up with to dodge her now that she had caught him dead to rights!

"Who the hell are you trying to fool? When I walked over, I literally saw you looking so bored you were practically falling asleep! You don't consider these competitors a threat at all, do you?!" Xue Yi rcilessly exposed his lie.
"You can't say it like that. Isn't it totally normal to rest my eyes for a bit when they get tired?"
"Whatever. The bottom line is you're just absolutely refusing to leak a single word about Umbreon, aren't you?"
"Oh, so that's why you're here. But didn't I already reveal it to you?"
"Really? Then I'd love to know exactly which sentence of yours supposedly 'revealed' it?"
"Didn't I tell you to try using a Moon Stone?"
"Heh. You only said that because you already knew for a fact that the Moon Stone does absolutely nothing, right?"
"Look at you making wild accusations. I don't own an Eevee, nor do I have a Moon Stone. How the hell would I know?"
"Yeah, I'm actually incredibly curious about that myself. Exactly where did you hear about Umbreon? That was highly classified intel only accessible to corporate insiders like us."
"So, is there a slight possibility that I actually don't know shit about any 'Umbreon', and this whole thing has just been a massive misunderstanding from the very beginning?" Lorze shrugged.
"Absolutely zero possibility. Stop looking for pathetic excuses!" Xue Yi gritted her teeth in pure frustration. Even at this point, he was still playing dumb with her? Did he not realize his cover was completely blown and she knew he was holding out on her?
Xue Yi felt like she was trying to talk to a brick wall that deflected absolutely everything!
Seeing this bastard refuse to leak even the slightest crumb of intel no matter what, Xue Yi grew increasingly desperate.
This caused the other beautiful girl standing beside Xue Yi, "Anna Lee," to feel completely unable to watch this trainwreck continue. Xue Yi, oh Xue Yi, don't you realize you've completely fallen into his conversational rhythm?

"Did I? I don't rember." Xue Yi crossed her arms, completely refusing to admit it.

The two of them instantly fell back into a rapid-fire bickering match, leaving Anna clicking her tongue in amazent.
