A new city had been born in the Great Forest of Jura. Astonishingly enough, it was a city built by monsters.
That did not an monsters were completely devoid of intelligence. Races like goblins and ogres ford groups and built small villages, but a city was another matter entirely.
A city was not sothing that functioned simply because the strong ruled over it. Villages and cities differed in population, population density, administrative structure, the economic activity of their residents, scenery, land use, and more.
According to the spies' reports, the city was inhabited by hobgoblins, so kijin, orcs, lizardn, lycanthropes, and even monsters believed to be a mutated strain of the Arang tribe, while rchants and adventurers were also gathering there.
To command monsters of many different species and even make the place function as a city... whoever had built it undoubtedly possessed power beyond imagination.
What was even more shocking was that every monster living in that city was a nad individual. For a monster to receive a na ant becoming sothing like what gas called a nad monster, an existence of a higher rank than its original race. A monster that received a na might beco only sowhat stronger depending on the rank of the one who nad it, but it could also break through the limits of its species and evolve. However, giving a na was an act accompanied by considerable risk. The reason was simple: the act of naming alone consud an enormous amount of magicules. The stronger the target being nad, the more the required amount of magicules increased exponentially, to the point that the one giving the na could die or beco drastically weakened if things went wrong.
And yet, nas had been bestowed even on ordinary monsters, and every one of them had evolved into a higher race.
