BANG... There was a sonic boom followed by a large tentacle shooting out of its body and targeting the knight.
The Grimjaw used no magic or more like it couldn’t; however, to compensate for that flaw, it was bestowed with an extrely powerful body that was no different from any magic or skill.
As evident, the tentacle left ripples in the air as it ca slamming. The destructive power within was so great that it could easily crush boulders and flatten steel. Even a knight who mastered [One with the Sword] would not take that attack head on and would most definitely dodge.
However, Tollivar had no plans of doing that.
ZOOMM... The giant hamr in his hand trembled. A blue light flashed, and the next second it ca blasting through the air.
BANG... a loud boom echoed as the air was blasted apart along with the tentacle as if it were made of waterlon.
KIEEE... the demon cried out in anguish, the creepy flesh of its tentacles spraying everywhere. However, it was a high ranking demon in the end, its lost limb quickly regenerated back.
Enraged, the Grimjaw attacked. This ti, multiple more tentacles sprouted from his body and attacked the knight.
BANG... BANG... BANG... The result was... the sa. All the tentacles that ca targeting him were blasted into bits.
"What?" The Grimjaw was shocked; so seriousness was finally appearing in its eyes. "Hmph, it looks like your stats are not bad. But if you think..."
"[Sky Cracking Swing]" It was unable to complete its sentence as the knight ca charging at it with incredible speed. His loud roar shook the place and his hamr...

At that very instant, the Grimjaw’s body trembled, and it hurriedly dodged the attack.
BOOM... the swing missed; however, the air that was blasted apart created a column of pressurised air that charged towards the demon.
BANG... the latter used its tentacle to shield from the attack. Although it was pushed back a little, it was nevertheless unhurt. That said... What’s with that hamr?
At that very second, when the hamr was about to land, it saw the weapon violently pushing back the air so forcefully that it was actually distorting space from the friction.
Tollivar looked at the demon and then at the remaining glow in the hamr. Wasting no ti, he sprang back to action again. His muscles roared, and veins slithered like a dragon.
BOOM... BOOM... BOOM... Every swing calculated, every brunt containing all of his strength, and every smash shaking the entire village.
When the giant hamr in hand moved, it caused an explosion of air and shockwave, so loud that it was no different than a clap of thunder, capable of even waking up the dead.
That was not all, his skills that were polished and accumulated over long years of service, had complete understanding and mastery over the hamr. Increasing the damage dealt exponentially.
When the demon attacked with its [Spinal Lance] ability, Tollivar responded with [Armor Implosion], a skill that not only dents but causes the armor and bones to collapse from within, crushing ribs and snapping spines.
The Grimjaw’s [Spinal Lance], which was actually its fortified spine that it could extend and retract like a flexible whip and attack with precision, was completely crushed.
KIEEE... it cried out again in anguish, though the next second, it used those shattered bones like spikes, controlling them all individually as if they were its own arms and legs.
[Marrow Spike] A skill that, once injected inside the body of its target, would then grow and rupture after a slight delay. A truly horrifying skill.
Of course, it was not the end. The demon attacked again and again, all of its attacks were physical based and extrely powerful. [Bone Swarm], [Wight’s Spine], [Grave Bloom], all kinds of abilities manifested.
[Bone Swarm] unleashed a cloud of animated bone fragnts. [Wight’s Spine] turned the Grimjaw’s vertebrae into a spectral serpent, fast and deadly. And [Grave Bloom], which caused large spikes that were actually the bones of the demon, to protrude out from the ground and impale the knight.
Facing an attack that ca from all directions, Tollivar did not panic; instead, he swung his hamr.
"[Vaccum Howl]" The swing pulled all air inward, creating a mont of eerie silence. Then with a boom, all that air exploded outward in a deafening roar. Every and all attacks thrown by the demon were instantly crushed.
From the beginning, Tollivar was completely dominating the battle. Observing all of this from the hill, Reinhardt narrowed his eyes. To any observer, it would look like the knight was in complete control of the fight and doing well against the high ranking demon.
However, that was nothing but a misguided judgnt. The demon had to use its most powerful weapon yet, the Ouroboros curse. The gigantic serpent mark that was hovering above the village in an ethereal form.
Furthermore, there was also Tollivar’s ti limit. The knight might have returned to the ti when he could fight demons like in his heyday. Though it was not like it was permanent.
The current form of Tollivar was a borrowed power that had a fixed ti limit. Borrowed because it was a strength that he had taken from his hamr, his partner who had gone through all the storms with him and absorbed all the experience, power, skills, and battles.
In this final mont, it bestowed the knight the power to fight the evil one last ti.
"Hm?"
At this mont, Reinahrdt sensed the villagers coming up the hill.
"S-Sir Knight, are you the one Sir Tollivar said would protect us?" An old man who seed like the village chief asked.
