"Have you really fallen so far that you have to co to my house for dinner every day now?" Her teasing words carried a hint of obvious disdain.
Xu Yisen pretended not to catch the aning behind Qin Muni's words and instead replied excitedly, "Every day? That's a great idea. Since you don't mind, I'll just co over every day for a al."
"...!!" That's not what she ant at all!!
Qin Muni calmly glanced sideways at Xu Yisen, didn't even bother to answer him, and turned away holding Bruce.
Bruce lay on her shoulder, gazing longingly at Xu Yisen who was standing still. As she turned, he let out a pitiful howl, as if Qin Muni was forcibly separating him from Yisen.
"You little traitor, it's only been a day, and you're already siding with him."
Qin Muni gently petted Bruce as she pretended to grumble about Bruce's overly friendly attitude towards Xu Yisen.
She had just returned ho, not even five minutes in, when the doorbell rang.
Qin Muni glanced at the monitor to see who was outside, and her eyebrows raised involuntarily.
She opened the door and stared expressionlessly at Xu Yisen, whom she had just seen five minutes ago, "What are you doing here?"
"Bruce's toys were left at my place, so I brought them over." He said, raising a large bag in his hand.
Qin Muni glanced at the large bag in his hand; indeed, it contained a pair of toys, "These aren't his."
When she sent Bruce to Liang Jiuchen's house, she had hurriedly forgotten to bring Bruce's toys, only bringing his food.
"I bought these for him."
"So, what?"
"So I gave them to him; now they're his."
Qin Muni pursed her lips, "Alright then, thanks."
Xu Yisen handed the bag to her, and as she reached out to take it, Xu Yisen suddenly put his other arm around her shoulders, gently turned her body, and slipped sideways.
Holding the bag, Qin Muni stood at the door and blinked slowly, and before she knew it, Xu Yisen had already snuck into her ho.
Realizing what happened, she chuckled, genuinely feeling that ever since she and Xu Yisen got divorced, the guy seed to have beco out of sorts.
For instance, that little move just now, it was really childish, the old mature and steady Xu Yisen would never have done such a thing.
Qin Muni walked into the room with the bag, closing the door behind her. When she got to the living room, Xu Yisen was already playing happily with Bruce on the sofa.
"Why did you co in?"
"Didn't you say you would treat to dinner? I'm here to freeload." He said with an air of entitlent.
Qin Muni placed the bag on the sofa, tucked back her long hair, and quipped, "It's not a good habit to freeload off your ex-wife."
Xu Yisen's lips curved slightly, and a faint smile appeared in his deep eyes, "Good thing I'm not one for rules."
Qin Muni crossed her arms, leisurely watching Xu Yisen lazily recline on the sofa, "Tsk tsk, separating made realize just how shaless you can be."
"Let freeload a few more als and you'll discover even more."
Qin Muni rolled her eyes and lowered her arms, "I'm going to the study, you play with Bruce. Rember to close the door when you leave."
Saying this, she didn't bother with Xu Yisen, turned, and walked towards the stairs.
Xu Yisen watched her leave, the smile in his eyes like tiny waves at sunset, filled with endless tenderness.
The always lively Qin Muni had, since divorcing Xu Yisen, developed a good habit of reading.
