The chauffeur standing beside the car coldly observed everything. When he saw a familiar small figure appear in his sight, he loudly reminded Zhao Yaru, "Madam, the young master is here."
Zhao Yaru reached out and freed herself from Qin Muni’s grip on her coat, then warmly approached the little boy walking towards them.

The dim streetlight shone through the windshield on Qin Muni’s softly outlined face, illuminating the pain hidden between her brows clearly.
Xu Yisen spoke softly, "Hungry? I rember Jiuchen ntioned there’s a good barbecue place nearby. This weather is perfect for drinking beer and having barbecue."
Qin Muni snorted and looked at Xu Yisen with a faint smile, "Mr. Xu, have you finally stepped into the mundane world?"
In her impression, Xu Yisen only frequented high-end restaurants and had never been seen at any barbecue place.
She always thought Xu Yisen was a nobleman above worldly affairs, thus found his proactive suggestion quite amusing.
Xu Yisen followed her words, joking, "Yes, I heard there’s good food and beautiful won in the world, so I wanted to co down and check it out."
"Heh." Qin Muni snorted again, slowly turning her gaze forward, silent.
There was no radio on in the car, and neither of them spoke, leaving a very quiet atmosphere.
As the car stopped at a red light, Xu Yisen applied the brakes and glanced at Qin Muni resting with her eyes closed beside him. He spoke in a low voice, "Do you want to tell what happened?"
It seed as though Qin Muni had fallen asleep; she did not answer Xu Yisen for a long ti.
It wasn’t until the light turned green and Xu Yisen redirected his gaze forward that she slowly parted her lips and replied, "It’s not good to ddle in a forr wife’s business."
"Not just a forr wife, also a friend."
The implication was that it was only right to care for a friend.
Qin Muni snorted lightly, slowly opened her eyes, and her deep black eyes were bright like stars in the night.
Perhaps Xu Yisen’s concern was too sincere, so she really opened her mouth to tell him what had happened.
"My mother lived a life of luxury, so after my father went bankrupt, she abandoned him and . No matter how I begged her to co back back then, I couldn’t persuade her to change her mind.
