"Jian Jian, stop crying. If it’s really as he just said, then Ouyang wouldn’t erase his traces like before. Instead, he would leave clues for us to find him." Chu Liyuan kept stroking Jian Dan’s head until her crying lessened and then spoke.
Jian Dan immediately lifted her head. "That’s right! I’ll go now!" She excitedly returned to her seat in front of the puter.
Sure enough, as Chu Liyuan predicted, the tracking this time was much easier than expected.
Of course, this was only true for Jian Dan. After all, the clues Ouyang Jing left had to avoid detection by others. He had used an encryption method that only he and Jian Dan knew.
"Found it~" Half an hour later, Jian Dan jumped up from her chair with excitement.
"Where is it?" Everyone gathered around, especially Xiao Ting, who appeared unusually eager.

This rescue mission for Ouyang Jing was truly an all-hands effort. Even Shang, who rarely participated directly in field missions, joined this time.
Aboard the plane, everyone wore solemn expressions. No one here hadn’t said something harsh about Ouyang at one point, and now every one of them felt guilt toward him. Especially Xiao Ting—since discovering that Ouyang Jing was actually an undercover operative, her brow hadn’t relaxed, her eyes hadn’t dried, and her body hadn’t stopped trembling.
"Xiao Ting, don’t worry. Ouyang will be fine. There’s so many of us; we’ll definitely bring him back safely." Jian Dan tightly held Xiao Ting’s hand.
"Mm!" Xiao Ting’s lips pressed tightly as she looked at Jian Dan and nodded firmly.
Soon, they tracked Ouyang Jing’s location. It was in a long-abandoned, derelict building.
Upon arrival, Jian Dan immediately surveyed the surroundings and discovered the area was in severe disrepair. There wasn’t even a single surveillance camera. Without cameras, she couldn’t gather any intel on the situation here.
In such a state of plete unknowns, their operation would bee highly passive. They didn’t know the layout inside, how many people were there, or where Ouyang might be held.
"What do we do? There’s nothing here, not even surveillance cameras. How are we supposed to proceed?" Jian Dan asked in frustration as she stared at the dilapidated building before her.
"Jian Jian, although there’s no surveillance here, since this is an abandoned building, there must be blueprints from its original construction. If we can find the architect involved back then, we might uncover basic details about this place." Chu Liyuan gently held Jian Dan’s shoulder to remind her.
"Of course! How could I not think of that?" Jian Dan suddenly realized and began typing rapidly on her puter.
A few minutes later...
"The reason this place was abandoned is because of a collapse caused by substandard materials. Three people died in that accident, including the building’s architect." Jian Dan frowned as she relayed the information.
"Don’t worry. Even though it happened a long time ago, there must still be something left behind," Chu Liyuan reassured her once again.
Chu Liyuan naturally understood Jian Dan’s current state of mind. If it were the usual Jian Dan, she wouldn’t need constant reminders. Her emotions were clearly in turmoil.
"Oh! Right!" Jian Dan resumed her frantic operations.
Time passed indeterminately—it felt endlessly drawn out for all of them. Even short moments stretched unbearably long in their minds.
