"Jian Jian, calm down!" Chu Liyuan quickly embraced Jian Dan.
"Calm down? How can I stay calm? We all know how dangerous this place is, and yet they still..."
"That’s precisely why I came! I’m here to reduce your danger," Jian Xiaokai said seriously, meeting Jian Dan’s gaze. "Mom, you’re worried about our safety, but don’t you think we worry about yours too? I promise, the moment I plete what I need to do, we’ll leave immediately."
Jian Dan looked into Jian Xiaokai’s earnest expression and hesitated.
Meanwhile, Kuaikuai had already taken over from Xiao Ran to finish dressing Fang Qing’s wound. Now standing up, he coldly said, "The time you’ve spent arguing could’ve been put to better use. So let’s not waste any more energy—bro, let’s get started."
