Even with Bo Yan’s good temper, he could only frown slightly. What to do? Just wait!

He added, "At least there’s no traffic jam, otherwise, if the road condition is bad, it would be even worse."

Taking the bus to the subway station takes more than twenty minutes, and the subway to the airport plus transfer ti would take about an hour. This leaves just an hour before the flight takes off. When they get to the airport, they can’t just sit around; they need to run to check in, or they will definitely miss the flight.

With Bo Yan’s serious expression, Xia Siyu also looked grave. The two of them knew that, in the next period, they must race against ti to rush to the subway station, find the right direction for transfers quickly, and switch twice on the tro.

If it were usual tis, if they missed this flight, they could just take the next one. However, this is during a show, and in the show, this is a naturally set ti fra given to them for the final dash. They were already on the bus, so thinking any more was useless. Among the crowd, Bo Yan told Xia Siyu, "In a bit, once we get on the tro, take my bag through security first; I’ll get the tickets. Let’s et at the turnstiles."

"Okay, don’t worry." Xia Siyu swayed back and forth in the bus, gripping the handrail tightly. Bo Yan wanted to steady her, but fearing that the cara would capture it, he could only extend his arm protectively without getting too close—a typical "gentleman’s hand."

Another sharp turn, this ti a man in front leaned over and nearly fell onto her. Bo Yan saw this and quickly extended his hand to separate Xia Siyu and the man, creating a bit of space to avoid contact.

Xia Siyu hadn’t taken a bus in a long ti, but she wasn’t unfamiliar with the experience, so it didn’t seem novel. However, one thing stood out: the man next to her, who seed not to have bathed in ages, reeked of a sour sll, making her wrinkle her nose.

Regardless of the man’s appearance, just the odor was quite overwhelming. On buses, though, as long as people didn’t invade her space, she wouldn’t be too repulsed. After all, during this ti and location, aside from the few of them, everyone else cramming onto the bus was rushing for their livelihoods. As long as people practiced basic courtesy on the bus—not eating pungent foods like Chinese chive pastries or carrying fast food around—she could understand everything else.

After five shaky stops, with the first three stops being crowded, so passengers gradually disembarked. With the next stop approaching, Bo Yan guarded Xia Siyu on their breakthrough to the door, instructing, "Once we reach the stop, we’ll get off."

Xia Siyu nodded. As the bus reached the stop and opened its doors, she barely had ti to prepare before the crowd behind pushed her off the bus. She and Bo Yan followed the flow into the tro, with her taking Bo Yan’s backpack, heading through security while Bo Yan bought tickets. The two divided tasks, entering the station swiftly.

Reaching the station, they first rode east for two stops, then six more after transferring to the airport line. This station wasn’t too crowded, but there weren’t any vacant seats after they got on, disembarking two stops later.

Expecting the first transfer, it surprisingly took five minutes just to walk across and another five to wait for the train. With each passing second, Bo Yan kept his eye on the ti, calculating they had an hour and a half left. Ten minutes later, they would reach the station, needing a hundred-ter dash to transfer quickly onto the airport line.

After all, most dostic boarding passes can’t be printed after forty-five minutes. Even if they get off the train within an hour, it takes ti to rush from the tro station to the check-in counters. Thankfully, they were in first class, allowing them to check in at the dedicated counter without having to wait too long; if they were in regular economy, even rushing to the airport might leave no ti for check-in, still missing the flight.

The shaky tro mirrored their jittery emotions. With the show setup like hell mode, they grudgingly accepted this line-skipping joy, unable to buy VIP privileges.

After anxiously waiting for what seed like forever, the tro was finally arriving at the station.

Bo Yan said, "This ti, we really need to hurry."

Xia Siyu nodded, rarely having been so serious about catching a flight. She felt it was quite interesting, almost like a new experience. As soon as the tro doors opened, both she and Bo Yan dashed out.

They ran so fast that the caraman couldn’t react in ti and imdiately gave chase.

Transfer stations typically involve going up and down escalators and navigating long walkways. Bo Yan rushed to the escalator first and ran up instead of waiting for it to carry him. Xia Siyu followed closely, both quickly passing through and then jogging along the indicated path.

It’s worth ntioning that both of them, aiming to keep a low profile, were dressed in T-shirts, casual pants, and sneakers—perfect attire for running.

The caraman, chasing after them in dress shoes and being less accustod to exercise, fell farther and farther behind.

The two raced through the long corridor, finally reaching the platform and spotting the airport line in front. However, the tro seed to have been at the stop for a while, almost ready to depart.

Bo Yan, with Xia Siyu in tow, said nothing as they darted onto the tro just as the "ding-ding" closing signal sounded. Right as Xia Siyu entered, the doors closed behind her.

Sadly, the caraman, having run so hard he lost a shoe, didn’t catch up, watching helplessly as Xia Siyu and Bo Yan rode away through the closing tro doors.

Inside the tro, they finally lost the following caraman, although they were still wearing microphones. Upon entering, the director called, and Bo Yan answered with a Bluetooth earpiece, keeping his voice low to avoid disturbing other passengers: "We’ve boarded the airport line. Sorry, we had to run faster or we’d miss the flight. We have sixteen minutes to the airport."

The director had no choice, acknowledging the unpredictability of transit that day. They responded, "Just be careful, and stay safe. We’ll discuss it once you reach the airport."

Bo Yan nodded, saying, "Understood," and hung up as the subway jolted once more.

Being on the tro, they were free from worrying about red lights or traffic jams. However, this train seed to be getting quite crowded.

Luckily, having outrun the caraman and wearing masks and hats, they didn’t worry much about being recognized. It was crowded enough that they couldn’t find anywhere to hold onto, so Bo Yan had to shield Xia Siyu.

With a sudden brake, many passengers without handholds toppled over, including Xia Siyu. Seeing no caras, Bo Yan promptly extended his arm and pulled her up.
