Xia Siyu was montarily taken aback, but she did not struggle, and leaned obediently into his embrace. Not just them, but many couples like them were hugging each other to stabilize themselves; there was another pair beside them.
But to be honest, after being celebrities for so long, they really enjoyed being able to freely embrace each other in front of a crowd, and they longed for this kind of ordinary, free happiness.
Even though the caras weren’t rolling, their microphones were still on. Bo Yan said, "Be careful, don’t fall."
In his arms, Xia Siyu snuggled a bit and nodded, saying, "I know, you too."
Both of their voices were soft.
Xia Siyu fiddled with the decorative button on his shirt while she was in his embrace and said, "Hey, what if we miss the plane today?"
Bo Yan thought for a mont, "If we miss it, we miss it. It’s fate’s arrangent, there’s nothing I can do. If we really can’t catch the plane, we shouldn’t throw a tantrum, right? I wouldn’t, but what about you?"
Xia Siyu snorted, "Who are you implying would do that? You’re insinuating sothing!"
Bo Yan chuckled lightly, "I’m not insinuating, I’m being explicit. — Ouch!"
Xia Siyu stomped on his foot, fortunately, she was wearing flats, otherwise, he’d be crippled: "Why stomp on my foot while we’re talking?"
Xia Siyu said, "What’s wrong with stepping on you? I wanted to kick you! How about you let kick you once?"
Bo Yan was frantically pointing at his microphone, aning the sound was still being recorded, so take it easy. But is Xia Siyu the type to let him off just because he ntioned the sound was recording? Definitely not. She ended up kicking him twice before stopping.
The car smoothly arrived at the airport, but they couldn’t rest since they only had an hour until the flight. Bo Yan grabbed Xia Siyu’s hand and sprinted out of the subway.
Thankfully, the subway was connected to the airport, and after getting out of the subway entrance, they followed the signs and ran for five minutes, eventually turning into the airport gates. From a distance, they seed to see staff directing, so Xia Siyu quickly let go of his hand.
When their hands parted, Bo Yan felt a slight emptiness, but upon seeing the staff waiting ahead, he also eased a bit, and then both of them raised their heads and ran forward, entering the airport. Soon, Wei Jingjing and Song Fengzhi were waiting there too, and Wei Jingjing said, "We just checked in the luggage with Song Fengzhi."
The staff gave them their papers, so they handled the luggage first to ensure Xia Siyu and Bo Yan didn’t have to spend more ti with extra luggage later at security check.
But Bo Yan and Xia Siyu didn’t have ti to pay attention to them. They rushed to the counter to get their boarding passes. After getting their boarding passes, they finally had ti to co back and check in with the show staff, clapped the board, and took a group photo as a nto.
Taking the group photo naturally required removing their masks. As soon as they did, it imdiately created a small commotion in the busy airport. Luckily, Xia Siyu and Bo Yan had to board the plane quickly, so after the photo, it wasn’t long before they were through security, marking the official end of the first phase of filming.
Though filming had ended, post-production was in intense progress. The variety show was set to launch in a few days, and at that ti, their "love reserve onscreen" would likely generate many discussions.
Those topics were unknown to them for now. However, once on the plane, because they had been recognized earlier, they were recognized again by the flight attendants.
This ti, Xia Siyu confidently said, "We just collaborated for work."
Since they were recognized, Xia Siyu didn’t hide at all, openly being with Bo Yan, and even took souvenir photos with the flight crew. She signed autographs and took photos with a pleasant deanor, without a hint of impatience.
She had been running all day, and her breakfast was long digested. From when she sat down to when the plane descended, she kept eating.
Bo Yan, on the other hand, was going over the script. Xia Siyu had previously ntioned wanting to write a play about her mother, and she had given a rough narration, so the screenwriter had already started working on it, and the progress was good.
Everything was moving in a positive direction, however, there was one piece of news that caught his attention.
It wasn’t concerning Xia Siyu, but rather the Bo Family.
Recently, Bosch Corporation seemingly wasn’t doing well financially.
Bosch focuses on foreign trade; although the pandemic had significantly affected international business before, China’s dostic situation had stabilized and foreign trade had recovered quite well. While foreign countries grappled with their problems, China resud production and managed to snag many orders from them—other countries were still struggling with the pandemic, making it hard to operate, so work flowed back to be handled dostically.
Theoretically, China should have passed the most dangerous phase for foreign trade and things should be a lot easier now.
But Bosch Corporation is currently losing money. It seems there’s a slight issue with their operations.
However, for Bo Yan, this wasn’t that important anymore. Since his grandfather handed Bosch to his uncle and cousin, Bo Yan has been distancing himself from Bosch to an extent. Bosch used to sign him as their brand ambassador, but once his uncle took over, they didn’t renew his contract.
While the ambassador role didn’t pay much, signing or not signifies a certain attitude. Additionally, it seems his grandfather expressed that most of the family business would pass to his uncle, and they’re keeping it from him.
It’s fine not to be involved; after all, his work doesn’t have much to do with the family anymore. As long as they’re happy.
Bo Yan realized that he initially limited himself to the Bo Family; he carried the Bo surna, so he always felt obliged to contribute to the family. But seeing Xia Siyu’s aversion to her family, he seed to be changing sothing inexplicably too. Stepping outside of this circle and looking back, everything seed so clear.
That’s all there is to it. When I value you, you are the prized scarlet mark on my heart. When I am finally able to let you go, you’re at most an unfamiliar relative, an occasional contact, but no longer affecting my heart.
The two returned to Yancheng, but the show wasn’t over; so parts were still post-production.
After all, with the two rushing the flight like rolling winds, they missed post-shoot, they even shook off the caraman, leaving the crew with insufficient footage. The two went to the studio, recorded a segnt, and then went ho to rest.
After a day of flying, both were exhausted to the core, they washed and soon fell asleep soundly. The first episode was edited within a few days, and impressively, the teaser trailer was online.
In the teaser, Bo Yan and Xia Siyu finally made an appearance. But nobody expected the teaser to go viral because of Xia Siyu’s line, "I love the puppy love."
