After feeling jealous and venting a little of that jealousy on his wife—while still controlling his strength—this kind of interaction felt completely different from their everyday routines. It was actually kinda fun as a once-in-a-while thing.
Especially since Bo Yan had apologized right away. If he hadn’t apologized or admitted his mistake first, she wouldn’t have been smiling and making peace with him so easily.
Xia Siyu suddenly changed the tone of her conversation: “If I really wanted to look for a ‘little wolfdog,’ would I be stupid enough to let you catch in the act? After all these years, if I could’ve found soone more handso and with a better body, I wouldn’t have gotten back on this ‘pirate ship’ of yours.”
Bo Yan, usually wise and composed, always held the high ground both intellectually and emotionally. It was rare to see him lose his cool. Of course, if he truly lost it, things wouldn’t have stopped at just “teaching” her a lesson just now. There would’ve been far more serious consequences.
