Normally, Xia Siyu would boast about herself endlessly, and Bo Yan usually wouldn’t respond. He would even look at her with a speechless expression and shut her down.

Xia Siyu scoffed: "You have so many fans who call you ’hubby’ every day on Weibo, and I don’t get angry. Even Shang Feifei and Li Yiru used to like you, but I didn’t get upset."
Bo Yan let out another "Hmm," then said, "But last ti, when that second female lead who joined our crew with sponsorship followed around, you were pretty angry."
Xia Siyu was caught red-handed and sat up straight, trying to defend herself: "I was mad because it was your birthday, and you didn’t even bother sending a ssage! It wasn’t jealousy!"
Bo Yan looked at her expression, both annoyed and amused: "Hmm, right, it was my fault, definitely not yours."
Xia Siyu nodded firmly: "Of course!"
Bo Yan shook his head with a chuckle. After venting his emotions earlier, he was now calm again. Thinking back on it, he realized he had been a bit childish.
But when you genuinely love soone, you can’t help but be affected by her every word and action. Even if you know she’s joking, there’s still a little thorn wedged in your heart. He loved her deeply, and he had never regretted it.
Bo Yan reached out and wrapped his arm around her shoulder. After a few seconds, his grip tightened, pulling her closer to him.
Xia Siyu didn’t resist, leaning into his strength as she fell against him. But to her surprise, Bo Yan kept pulling, tighter and tighter, as if he wanted to ld her into his own body in a desperate embrace.
Xia Siyu, almost out of breath from his hold, couldn’t help but tilt her head and ask, "What’s wrong?"
Bo Yan shook his head and kissed her forehead gently: "Nothing."
