"Yes, I’m jealous!"
Hearing this, Adrian Desmond was slightly stunned. What did he just hear? This arrogant woman actually admitted that she was jealous?
"Really?" he asked joyfully.
"I didn’t expect you to get jealous too?"
"Yes, I’m jealous! Are you satisfied now?" she said unhappily.
Adrian laughed, not out of pride, but happiness. This woman was actually jealous over him! He also forgot about the embarrassing mont when she had kicked him to the ground earlier and shalessly sidled closer.
"You silly woman, what are you jealous about? You’re the only one in my heart."
Sienna Johnson stared at him with her red, tear-swollen eyes and fiercely kicked him in the stomach again. This ti, Adrian held his ground and didn’t fall. She challenged, "Am I really the only one in your heart?"
"Yes."
"If I’m the only one in your heart, why haven’t you texted or called ?"
Adrian was dumbfounded as Sienna complained, "You’ve been gone for five days—not a single call, not a single text!"
"I—"
Sienna cut him off. "You don’t need to explain; I know what you want to say. You just want to tell you were busy, right? You certainly were busy! Busy enough to eat, sleep, and go to the bathroom, but not busy enough to call or text ."
"Well, can I explain?"
"I won’t listen!" Sienna turned away, sulking.
"You won are so troubleso! You ask to explain, but when I want to, you refuse to listen..." He cupped her face, turning her to look at him. "It’s not that I didn’t want to call or text you; it’s because where I was staying, my phone had no signal at all."
"Where did you go that your phone had no signal?"
"Really, no signal." He looked directly into her eyes, his gaze unwavering.
Sienna asked, "Really?"
"Really! You’re so smart; how would I dare deceive you?"
"So you can be clingy too. I thought only those young girls liked that sort of thing, and you’d disdain it. Fine, I’ll rember. In the future, whenever I go out, I’ll text and call you every day, okay?"
Sienna’s face turned slightly red. What was this? It was as if she were begging him to call and text her.
She said awkwardly, "If you don’t want to, then forget it. I never forced you to call or text ."
"Yes, yes, *I’m* the one who wants to call and text you, alright?"
A beautiful smile touched Sienna’s lips, but when she saw Adrian’s face, it faltered.
"What are you laughing at?"
"Of course, I laugh when I’m happy."
As soon as Adrian finished speaking, Sienna began to tug at his shirt. The fire inside him, which had just been extinguished, flared up again. She’s actually taking off my clothes...
"I’ve only been gone a few days, and you miss this much," he said, leaning in for a kiss, but Sienna dodged him.
"What’s wrong?"
"What’s this?" She ripped open his shirt, revealing the bite mark, her gaze sharp and accusing.
She couldn’t play the part of a magnanimous and virtuous wife, nor did she want to. She preferred to bring everything out into the open. She had to know who bit him!

Adrian looked down at the bite mark on his chest, surprised. How could it have been bitten so hard? It’s even scabbed over. He genuinely hadn’t noticed it before.
"Tell ! Which little vixen bit you?" Sienna pressed.
Adrian looked up, a flicker of confusion in his eyes, which then crinkled with his usual charming, flirtatious glint. Seeing Sienna’s rare display of jealousy, he felt an urge to tease her and deliberately misled her.
"It was a little vixen..."
He leaned in to hug her, but Sienna pushed him away in disgust, though she couldn’t budge him. "Stay away from ! You’re dirty!"
"I won’t let go!"
"Let go!"
"Nope, not letting go!"
There was a great disparity in strength between them. Sienna couldn’t push him away, and tears of frustration welled in her eyes. In the end, the man’s heart softened, and he relented.
"Alright, alright, stop crying."
"Why shouldn’t I cry when you bully like this?" She glared at him, her eyes sharp enough to skin him alive.
"What’s with you and your daughter getting jealous over the sa thing?"
"What does Curly have to do with this?" she yelled at him.
Adrian pointed to his chest. "Your daughter bit !"
Sienna was dumbfounded. "How is that possible? Why would Curly bite you for no reason?"
"And Curly isn’t that wild!"
"It seems you don’t really know your daughter that well," Adrian harrumphed.
"Tell , what happened?"
"Heh, give your big brother a kiss, and then big brother will tell you."
Adrian leaned his face closer, and Sienna, without hesitation, raised her hand to slap him. Fortunately, Adrian dodged quickly, or he would have definitely been hit.
"You woman!"
"Tell !"
Recalling the scene from that day, Adrian felt a wave of helplessness. He slowly recounted, "This is what happened... George wanted to co stay at our place for a bit, but your daughter wouldn’t allow it. At first, I thought, I’m Curly’s dad, aren’t I? Of course, I should have the final say in this. But your daughter got angry and bit ."
"She really bit down hard, that ungrateful little thing, especially after how much I usually dote on her." Adrian lowered his head, looking at the mark on his chest with a heartbroken expression.
"You’re not lying to , are you?"
She had been jealous of that "woman" for days, only to find out that the "woman" was her own daughter. Sienna found it utterly unbelievable and, at the sa ti, deeply embarrassing.

Sienna had never dared to look closely at the bite mark before, always just stealing quick glances. Now, she examined it openly. She realized the teeth marks were small, definitely not an adult’s. The more she looked, the more they resembled a child’s.
"Believe now?" Adrian stared at Sienna, teasing her.
She nodded gently.
"So, tell , how are you going to compensate for all the suffering I’ve endured?"
This whole episode, which had started as a wife confronting her unfaithful husband, had bizarrely turned into a complete misunderstanding.
But thankfully, it was just a misunderstanding.
She quickly buried her head in his embrace and murmured, "I’m sorry, I misunderstood you."
"Mrs. Desmond, you kicked twice and berated , and now you think a simple ’sorry’ will settle things? Hmph... Life isn’t that easy."
"Then what do you want?"
She lifted her head, her gaze eting his.
