"What ga?"
"Of course, it’s an interesting ga." Sienna Johnson deliberately played coy, her smiling gaze sweeping over every woman present.
It must be said, these won were all beautiful. After all, those attending the banquet today weren’t ordinary people; their n were wealthy and powerful. When n of power and influence chose wives, they naturally looked at faces and chests—who cared about inner worth?
"Just tell us already!"
"...Any of you, if you can make Sixth Master Night Owl at you, I’ll give you 150 thousand. Whoever can get Sixth Master to hold your hand briefly, I’ll give 750 thousand. Whoever can get Sixth Master to hug you, I’ll give 1.5 million. And whoever can get Sixth Master to kiss you, I’ll give an enormous 1.5 million!"
After a long pause, Sienna Johnson saw eager anticipation stirring on several won’s faces.
"Whoever can hook up with Sixth Master in bed... Mrs. Desmond, I’ll gladly yield this position to you!"
The won gasped. None of them would dare utter such words.
It’s often said a wife isn’t as enticing as a concubine, a concubine not as thrilling as a secret affair, and a secret affair not as captivating as the one who remains out of reach. They understood n’s base desires all too well. That was why mistresses weren’t necessarily more beautiful or charming than legal wives—they were rely ’fresher.’
Where did this woman get the confidence to say such things?
"Are you not afraid that Sixth Master will really be snatched away by us...?" one woman ventured.
Sienna Johnson spoke indifferently, as if it didn’t concern her in the least. "If you truly have the ability to snatch Sixth Master away, I’ll have to thank you sincerely... Thank you for helping see Sixth Master’s true colors!"
"Are you really serious?" a girl asked.
Sienna Johnson looked at the lovely girl, a cunning smile playing on her lips. "Of course! If I go back on my word, I’ll cut out my own tongue!"
"The sa goes for Miss Carpenter!" Sienna Johnson said to lanie Carpenter, unable to bear her wretched act. "Stop playing the victim in front of others all the ti. Since you’re so convinced I stole your man, why don’t you try to steal him back?!"
Sienna Johnson’s words infuriated lanie Carpenter. The two won stared each other down, sparks practically flying between them.
"What are you so arrogant about? Stealing soone else’s man makes you proud? What are you so smug about? Have you no sha?" lanie Carpenter retorted, trying to paint Sienna Johnson as immoral.
"Sienna Johnson, I don’t believe your happiness will last! Since you could snatch Adrian Desmond from , another woman will surely snatch him from you in the future!"
"Sienna Johnson, just you wait! I want to see how pitiful you look when your man gets stolen!" lanie Carpenter cursed.
Sienna Johnson chuckled softly. "Then you’re bound to be disappointed. I’m not you! I’ll never be a pathetic wretch! Because I’ll never live or die for a man who abandons ! If Adrian Desmond ever dares to cheat on , I’ll dump him imdiately and marry a man fifteen tis, a thousand tis better than him! Do you think all won in this world are like you, fixated on one man to their own detrint? I’m not! If Adrian Desmond loves , I’ll treasure him. If he stops loving , I’ll treat him like a pile of shit!"
"You... you... you..." lanie Carpenter’s face flushed crimson with anger, but she was speechless, unable to form a retort.
Seething, she raised her hand, about to splash her red wine on Sienna Johnson.
However, Sienna Johnson, having practiced Martial Arts, was more than capable of handling a frail woman like lanie Carpenter. With a skillful exertion of force, she redirected the wine, originally aid at her, dousing the woman standing closest to them instead.
"Ah... my dress..." the woman shrieked, but it was too late to salvage it.
A large red wine stain now marred her beautiful, light-colored dress.
Sienna Johnson rembered this woman. Wasn’t she Bella Ford, lanie Carpenter’s little sycophant? When Sienna had first arrived in Abyanabad and gone to the cinema, she’d even seen her selling popcorn.
"Sienna Johnson, you have to pay for my dress!" Bella Ford exclaid, furious, her eyes filled more with anguish for the ruined dress than anger.
Sienna Johnson’s sharp eyes noticed the tag still on the dress. Recalling Bella Ford selling popcorn at the cinema, a realization dawned on her.
"It wasn’t who splashed you. Why should I pay?"
"I clearly saw you splash !"
"The wine glass was in lanie Carpenter’s hand. I won’t admit to splashing you," Sienna Johnson stated, an unyielding expression on her face.
Bella Ford felt tears welling up. This dress was incredibly expensive! Ruined by red wine, it was a total loss. How could she ever explain this to her friend who worked at the designer boutique?
"Sienna Johnson, you bitch, pay for my dress!"
A bitch? How dare she call a bitch? Fine. If I’m a bitch, then I should act like one!
Sienna Johnson walked over, grabbed the tag on the dress, and yanked it off.
"The tag was still on your dress. I helped you remove it. No need to thank ."
Bella Ford burst into tears. "You... you... you pay for my dress! I rented it! How can I return it now that you’ve torn off the tag?"
"Oh, you rented this dress? I’m so sorry, I had no idea. I just thought you forgot to remove the tag," Sienna Johnson said, feigning innocence.
The other won’s gazes toward Bella Ford shifted. Attending a banquet in a rented dress? She clearly didn’t co from a good background.
Bella Ford imdiately sensed the change in the onlookers’ eyes, and her resentnt for Sienna Johnson deepened.
"Sienna Johnson, pay for my dress! If you don’t pay for it today, I won’t let this go!"
"It’s just a dress. I’ll get you an identical one. But first, you have to tell who splashed red wine on your dress just now... If you answer incorrectly, I won’t be getting you that dress, you know?"
Sienna Johnson glanced at lanie Carpenter. lanie was visibly furious but still hadn’t made a move, and Sienna was growing impatient. She really didn’t want to waste ti engaging in such pointless conversations with these won.
"Not going to tell ? Fine, then no dress for you! I’m not so saint who, after being wrongly accused, still graciously offers the accuser a beautiful new dress... If I actually did that, wouldn’t I truly beco the bitch you called ? I’m not one to debase myself!"
Bella Ford was caught in a fierce internal struggle. Her very survival depended on lanie Carpenter. The animosity between lanie and Sienna was so intense, they were like fire and water. If she admitted lanie splashed the wine, lanie, with her volatile temper, would surely conclude she’d sided with Sienna. Her relationship with lanie would be utterly destroyed.
