Chapter 773: Powerless!
How was that even possible?
How could she be this powerful?
Elder Nie was puzzled. He gazed at Yao Tang as if a goddess had descended onto the land right before his eyes. However, right then and there, he felt as if something had gone wrong.
In an instant, the deep ocean waves started to roll in his mind.

The sea was no longer as calm as he had thought. Suddenly, the waves hauntingly splashed against the shore, growing larger and larger. The spiritual world was no longer peaceful.
The waves turned sharper, even icier. The old man practically jumped in surprise as the waves churned around him, echoing in his surroundings.

Fear flashed in his heart, and he immediately retreated. He flashed back into his consciousness, blinking in surprise.
If he had retreated a little later then that runt would’ve already killed him! It was by a miracle he was able to escape as fast as he had today. He gazed at her in surprise.
In front of him, Yao Tang looked none the wiser as she charged toward one of the stronger men.
She cut his arm and kicked him away. The bold man rolled to the side, unable to move.
One of the other men charged toward her, and she maneuvered her blade backward—stabbing him in his stomach.
Elder Nie’s eyes widened.
Yao Tang was facing so many people. Even as she was continually attacking them, she still had the strength to attack him with her spiritual power. This was the first time he had seen someone this talented!
Although the group of people wasn’t strong enough, she still managed to fight him and them at the same time.
How was this possible?
Not only did she block his spiritual attack, but she also utilized her power to make a counter. She even managed to almost kill him in his own domain!
Fear stirred in his stomach.
If Yao Tang hadn’t been facing so many people right now, then he probably wouldn’t have been able to escape. Her spiritual power was truly inparable to anyone he had met!
She was powerful!
So powerful that she was terrifying.
His heart skipped a beat. He needed to kill her.
If she were to grow even more in her talents in the future, then he would be just another piece of meat in her hands. He couldn’t have that!
His eyes darkened.
No one could tell what he was planning.
Suddenly, he raised his hand and murmured a few words as if he were chanting something.
“Listen to my mand, attack!”
In an instant, the men looked like they’d been possessed. Their auras have changed, and their eyes turned pletely red. Their arms lay limp to their sides before their hands clenched into fists.
Elder Nie had possessed them!
Yao Tang gritted her teeth.
This was one of his most powerful abilities as a cabinet elder. He’d be able to use the power of his mind to connect with other’s bodies and minds, pletely taking them over.
Under his control, they’d be able to reach their full potential.
They’d also be able to work together.
Elder Nie’s eyes filled with pride.
While Yao Tang was powerful, he was much more experienced than her. Plus, he had been cultivating his spiritual power for years. If he were able to utilize them to their maximized potential, then he’d be able to eliminate her.
It’s a pity. She was just so talented.
However, as he could not use her, he might as well just kill her off.
Yao Tang looked at these people, unclenching her jaw. Without another word, she slowly wiped her dagger with a spare cloth.
Despite what was happening, she still appeared quite calm.
Elder Nie knew that Yao Tang was new to the Cabinet, so she probably had no idea about his skill. Besides, even if she did, she wouldn’t know what to do with it.
This was finally his chance.
However, Yao Tang still continued to rush toward the group of people.
He gritted his teeth.
Before she could react, there was another weapon ing toward her.

With a quick pierce, the corner of Yao Tang’s clothes were torn—the fabric falling onto the grass.
The crowd around them cheered.
With a fanatical glint in their eyes, their movements became much more brutal. They didn’t even pay much regard for their lives as they continued to strike and swipe.
Yao Tang looked behind her to see that President Tan and Tan Jian remained untouched.
She also needed to protect them.
She waved, and a few more weapons appeared in that direction. The people who aimed to attack her quickly fell to the ground.
President Tan held the steel rod close to him as he swung it in different directions. However, as he stared at his student rushing forward, he couldn’t help but feel powerless.
He was supposed to be the teacher.
