Inside the Maybach.
As soon as Damian Knight sat in the car, the driver, knowing the mood, lowered the special partition, separating the front and rear seats into two worlds.
Damian Knight’s tall figure made Sumr Monroe feel the air beco constricted the mont he entered.
Especially with the partition down, she felt even more uneasy.
But Damian Knight appeared utterly calm and collected.
Sumr Monroe inwardly cursed herself for lacking courage.
It was just a marriage of convenience, so why was she as nervous as an actual bride?
While Sumr Monroe was mulling this over, Damian Knight suddenly handed her sothing that looked like a contract.
She asked in surprise, "What is this?"
Damian Knight nonchalantly replied, "The three stipulations you ntioned before, I’ve made it into a contract. Take a look, and if there’s no issue, just sign it. We’ll each keep a copy."
Sumr Monroe paused, instinctively looking at the contract.
The content was filled up entirely; she was Party B, and Damian Knight was Party A.
Sumr Monroe had thought Damian Knight intended to exploit her, but upon closer inspection, she realized the terms mainly benefited her, heavily restricting Damian Knight. For instance, "If Party A becos overly intimate with soone of the opposite sex, Party B can file for divorce and has the right to make Party A leave with nothing" and so on.
But there was only one restriction on her, and that was also not to beco overly intimate with the opposite sex; otherwise, she too would leave with nothing.
Simply put, it was a contract that was all benefit and no harm to her.
Seeing this, Sumr Monroe looked at Damian Knight in shock...
"Damian Knight," Sumr Monroe couldn’t help but ask, "Did you draft this contract yourself?"
Damian Knight nodded, asking, "What’s wrong? Is there a problem?"
"No..." Sumr Monroe pointed at the contract, "Did you mix up Party A and B? As Party A, why would you impose so many restrictions on yourself?"
Damian Knight gave her a deep look, "Don’t worry, I didn’t get it wrong. If you have no other opinions, just sign it."
Sumr Monroe was stunned; so he didn’t make a mistake?
Then why did he do this?
However, Damian Knight seed to read her thoughts and said blandly, "This way, you’ll feel secure marrying , right?"
Sumr Monroe was taken aback, a multitude of doubts arising, and she couldn’t help but ask, "Damian Knight, do you... have feelings for ?"
So he repeatedly proposed marriage, so to ease her mind, he created a bunch of restrictive clauses on himself.
As Sumr Monroe finished speaking, from an angle she couldn’t see, Damian Knight’s palm slowly clenched.
Two seconds later, Damian Knight turned his gaze aside and said, "I don’t dislike you. Liking... not really, don’t flatter yourself, this is just a formal marriage, don’t have any illusions about ."
Sumr Monroe felt embarrassed, "Why would I have any illusions about you! Don’t flatter yourself!"
Damian Knight snorted, "That’s for the best."
Sumr Monroe hesitated, gritted her teeth, and signed her na quickly.
Why wouldn’t she sign a contract that did her no harm?
It was better that Damian Knight didn’t like her; if he did, she wouldn’t dare marry so easily! A relationship complicates things; it wouldn’t be a purely fake marriage anymore.
For the mont, both of them stared silently at their respective windows.
The atmosphere had a kind of stagnated silence.
Ten minutes later, the Maybach pulled up in front of a private restaurant.
When Sumr Monroe got out and saw the restaurant’s sign, she stopped in her tracks, seeing the sign read, in bold gold letters, "Luna Restaurant".
