The butler thought for a mont and asked if soone should follow Mason Monroe. Evan Hughes waved it off.
"Even if he has other intentions, I can find him anywhere in the world. Let him go; we’ll go back and wait for him to sign," Evan Hughes said as he stepped out of the pawnshop.
The pawnshop owner shivered, not daring to look Evan Hughes in the eye.
Fortunately, Evan Hughes didn’t make things difficult for him; he just took the Jade Buddha.
If Evan Hughes really wanted to cause trouble, his few pawnshops couldn’t withstand an investigation; there were too many illegal deals done through him!
Just as the pawnshop owner breathed a sigh of relief, a police car pulled up at the door.
Several officers handcuffed him imdiately and said coldly, "Soone reported this pawnshop for illegal activities, now co with us and cooperate with the investigation!"
The pawnshop owner blacked out and fainted on the spot.
At this mont, the sunset glowed, painting half the sky red.
As most people finished work for the day and headed ho to rest, the prep class students were getting ready for their lessons.
With only a few minutes before class started, soone couldn’t help but whisper, "This intense study is really getting to ."
" too... If I had known it would be this tiring, I might as well have finished high school and applied directly to Crestfall University."
"Britton University is great, but it’s so exhausting, I’m barely holding on."
As the tired voices spread throughout the class, Ronan Kingston was diligently working on his exercises.
Back when he was abroad, his grades were actually quite good, and he was quite intelligent, but his heart was set on joining the military, so he deliberately left questions unanswered even when he knew how to do them.
Therefore, in the eyes of the Kingston Family and people who knew him, his grades appeared poor.
But that wasn’t the reality.
Finn Ford watched in shock as Ronan Kingston completed a calculus test.
Even though he clearly saw Ronan Kingston finish the test, he couldn’t believe it and asked, "Did... did you really do this on your own?"
Ronan Kingston gave Finn Ford a look, clearly saying, "If I didn’t do it, who did?"
Ignoring Finn Ford, he picked up the test and approached Sumr Monroe, who was focused on sothing on her phone, and asked, "Hey Big Shot, could you check my test for ? It doesn’t have any answers, so I had to co to you."
After sending a ssage to her team, Sumr Monroe looked up at Ronan Kingston and said, "Sure."
Willow Grant, who happened to pass by, clenched her fist and quickened her pace to her seat.
Just that afternoon, she was appointed as the math class representative, but everyone asked Sumr Monroe for help with math questions, leaving her completely sidelined.
This was a silent form of contempt and insult!
Willow Grant sat back down, agitated, and started doodling on her scratch paper.
Just then, her deskmate leaned over and asked, "Class representative, I have a problem with this question. Can you help take a look?"
Willow Grant paused for a mont, then gladly agreed, "Sure."
Finally, soone rembered she was the math class representative!
Suppressing her delight, Willow Grant took the test her deskmate handed over and examined the questions carefully.
Many students in the class had brought their own calculus exercises, and her deskmate had too.
Willow Grant scrutinized the test, and a few minutes later, her expression grew stiff.
This question... she didn’t know how to solve it.
She could only awkwardly smile and say, "This question is beyond the syllabus; it even includes quantum chanics, which I’m not familiar with. Maybe wait for Professor Osborne and ask him?"
"No need," her deskmate said, standing up. "Professor Osborne ntioned he’d be half an hour late today. I’ll ask Sumr Monroe instead; she should be able to solve it."
