In their family... sothing unclean...
Old Madam Stanton’s gaze involuntarily fell on Sumr Monroe, who sat at the table, oblivious to everything but her al, her cloudy eyes gradually becoming sharp.
The incident with the Hughes Family, she didn’t know about it, but two people dying simultaneously, is there really such a coincidence?
Maybe these people weren’t wrong, perhaps their family had really encountered sothing unclean.
And this "thing" is none other than the recently found Sumr Monroe!
Old Madam Stanton’s eyes slowly narrowed.
Beside her, Stella Monroe paid no attention to the conversation around her; her mind was preoccupied with why Henry Stanton’s attitude towards her had suddenly turned so cold.
It wasn’t until the old lady stopped that she snapped out of her thoughts, looking at the old lady in confusion and asked, "Mom, what’s wrong? Your seat is over there."
Stella pointed to the large round table in the middle of the backyard.
That was the main table, but Sumr, being of the younger generation, couldn’t sit there; she and the old lady were qualified to sit there.
Awakened by Stella’s call, the old lady finally ca to her senses.
She secretly pulled Stella aside to a place where no one else was and quietly asked, "Phoebe, is there a famous spirit dium in Crestfall? Soone who can find unclean things and perform diumship?"
Stella was stunned, then frowned and said, "Why are you looking for that? Clarissa is being buried today, and she was always well-behaved, she wouldn’t disturb us. Plus, there’s no one like that in Crestfall, those are all scams."
"No, no, I’m not talking about Clarissa, I’m talking about Sumr."
Stella raised her eyebrows in shock.
"Sumr?"
Old Madam Stanton nodded, repeated what the guests said earlier, and then firmly said, "It must be Sumr who’s caused this misfortune! Didn’t she live in the countryside before? Who knows what she brought from there! That’s why our family and the Hughes Family are facing disasters together!"
Sumr’s eyes that night, even recalling them now, terrify her greatly. Those aren’t the eyes of a child of her age, maybe a thousand-year-old spirit has entered Sumr’s body!
Thinking of this, Old Madam Stanton added, "They say spirits are very beautiful, isn’t Sumr excessively beautiful? If there’s no spirit dium in Crestfall, then after Clarissa’s funeral, I’ll return and bring one here to check! If we’re mistaken, so be it, but if we’re not... she must leave here, far away from us!"
Listening to the old lady’s indignation, Stella almost laughed out loud.
Initially, when she heard the old lady had co while she was discharged, she was annoyed for a while, but now it seed the old lady’s presence was good, really good!
The old lady is difficult to deal with, and Sumr is dood this ti!
This must be Clarissa’s spirit in heaven, giving her such a good opportunity!
Stella clenched her fists, having made up her mind, and spoke, "Mom, I suddenly rember, I know a spirit dium. Why don’t I bring them over after Clarissa’s funeral?"
"Great! The sooner the better!" The old lady agreed eagerly.
She couldn’t wait even for a mont, the thought of a thousand-year-old demon possibly in their ho made her shiver all over.
Old Madam Stanton instinctively looked towards Sumr.
Just as Sumr finished her al and stood up, she turned her head and sensed sothing, looking in her direction.
"Ah—" The old lady gasped in fright, drawing the curious gaze of other guests around.
