Old Madam Stanton’s keen ears caught a few words, and she felt that the spirit dium was indeed urgent.

"What’s wrong with Mom?" Stella retorted, "You tell what’s wrong with her! Mom was confined for a day, her emotions were off. If I hadn’t forced her out, her health wouldn’t have held up for long! Henry, what on earth has possessed you? Weren’t you the most devoted to Mom before?"
Henry’s face stiffened, his neck rigid as he said, "I was doing it for Mom’s sake! If Damian Knight gets angry, it’s not as simple as being confined for a day."
"Alright then." Stella sighed and said, "Let Mom tell you the details herself once the guests have left. Besides Mom’s situation, there’s another very important matter I need to discuss with you. But... let Clarissa’s funeral be over first."
She didn’t want deceit and malice to taint her beloved Clarissa.
She wanted her beloved Clarissa to peacefully pass on and be reincarnated smoothly.
Henry’s brow furrowed deeply, but with so many guests present, he couldn’t press Stella on what was going on; he had no choice but to turn back to the guest seat with restraint, putting on his false smile to greet the guests.
"Please continue eating. The old lady is too overwheld with grief, she’s feeling a bit unwell, so she went back to rest."

But at this mont, Henry looked at the alluring Stella, his gaze icy cold.
A woman too beautiful, too enticing is not necessarily a good thing for a family.
