Sumr obediently agreed, and Stella took the opportunity to express her goodwill towards Sumr, smiling as she said, "Don’t worry about Clarissa, I will go with Sadie."
"Alright, you two go together then, I’ll take the master to the morial hall directly."
"Okay." Stella nodded and smiled as she watched Henry Stanton leave the villa.
As soon as Henry Stanton went out, Stella’s smile turned cold.
With a blank expression, she lifted her foot and walked towards the morial hall, and Sumr followed her.
As they walked through a corridor with no servants, Stella suddenly stopped and turned, looking at Sumr coldly.
"Sumr, are you really going to pay your respects to Clarissa? Aren’t you afraid her vengeful spirit will co after you?"
Sumr curled her lips into a smile and said, "Why should I be afraid? I wasn’t the one who caused her death."
Stella’s face instantly darkened.
"You didn’t cause her death? She was so timid, she was scared of getting sick just from a fever, how could she possibly commit suicide? It must be your doing!"
Sumr retorted, "Why would I want to harm her?"
Stella sneered, "Ha, why would you harm her? Isn’t it because you’re afraid the ocean will treat Clarissa better? Isn’t it because Clarissa recklessly thwarted you several tis?"
"Oh..." Sumr prolonged her tone, "I thought Auntie you had amnesia and forgot what Clarissa Stanton did to , turns out you rember everything."
"You—" Stella was so angry she pointed a finger at Sumr’s nose and cursed, "You little brat! Don’t think I can’t throw you out of the house! Without the Stanton Family, you are nothing in this Crestfall! I’m telling you, don’t think Damian Knight is fascinated now and treating you well, he won’t always treat you this way. To soone like him, you’re just a plaything! People from the Knight Family will never agree for Damian Knight to marry you, moreover, Damian Knight could never marry a country girl like you!"
After finishing her tirade, Stella felt entirely relieved.
She thought her words would sting Sumr’s sensitive nerves inside, yet when she looked up, she saw Sumr not only unstimulated by her words, but her smile grew even more brilliant.
Stella imdiately frowned, saying coldly, "No need to fake a smile, I know you’re not happy. Damian Knight, absolutely will not marry you, so give up your fantasy of having him as your lifelong backer!"
"Oh?"
Sumr raised an eyebrow and said, "Then what if I told you, Damian Knight and I are already married?"
"Ha!" Stella laughed outright, "How could Damian Knight possibly marry soone like you? What are you deluding yourself with? Even if you want to annoy , no need to lie so easily debunked."
After Stella finished speaking, Sumr didn’t reply, just stood quietly with a smile.
Her smile was immaculate, reminiscent of a full moon on the fifteenth, pure and proudly standing, only the sun could shine alongside her.
Stella looked at Sumr’s smile, feeling increasingly unsettled.
Married...
Lies...
Given Sumr’s cunning, it’s unlikely she would say such easily unmasked lies.
Could it be, could it be Sumr is really married to Damian Knight?!
How is that possible!!
If it’s truly like this, what does she have to contend with Sumr, the Knight Group’s young lady?
Stella’s heart was already clucking with panic, she struggled to keep her legs from giving way, but finally had to brace her hand against the wall just to barely stand firm.
"Huff—" Stella exhaled deeply, took a mont before finding her voice to ask, "Are you, are you telling the truth?"
