Finn Ford is a foodie, and his weight is proof enough. Upon hearing Sumr Monroe’s words, he imdiately cheered and dashed toward the fruit section.
Ronan Kingston shook his head speechlessly, then turned politely to Holly Holloway and said, "Shall we go take a look too?"
Holly, at a loss for words, blushed and nodded, following Ronan Kingston in the direction of Finn Ford.
Sumr Monroe noticed Holly was particularly nervous around Ronan Kingston and suddenly recalled Dr. Mayo’s words—
"Congratulations, you’re in love. You feel nervous, your face heats up and your heart races when you see this person. When you’re alone with him, you don’t even know where to put your hands. This is a sign that you’ve developed feelings for soone. Being in love isn’t just about being together; even unrequited love counts. Miss Monroe, you speak with such eloquence, and yet, when it cos to emotions, you’re like a blank slate."
"It’s understandable, though; if you’ve never experienced it, it’s normal not to know. But no matter how high your IQ is, without emotional experiences, sothing feels incomplete. Miss Monroe, regardless of whether this relationship has a happy ending, you’ll grow from it. So... congratulations."
Sumr Monroe bit her lip and headed towards the vegetable and at section.
After an entire afternoon, she finally understood that she wasn’t sick—she had simply fallen for Damian Knight.
Just a few months ago, she never thought she’d have any connection with Damian Knight, and yet, a few months later, she ended up... liking him.
But she’s not one to beat around the bush; if she likes soone, she’ll definitely confess.
Yet, she’s unsure if Damian Knight feels the sa way about her. If not, she’s worried that confessing could jeopardize their friendship.
So she invited Holly and the others over for dinner and ssaged Damian Knight to find another place to stay tonight—she needed a night alone to seriously consider whether or not to co clean with Damian Knight.
Sumr Monroe took a deep breath and forced herself to focus on grocery shopping first, leaving the heavy thoughts for later.
Just then, a stranger’s voice called out to her—
"Miss Monroe?"
Puzzled, Sumr Monroe turned her head. The person’s deanor was mild, with a beautiful, fresh face devoid of makeup, the kind of person any man would want to marry.
However, Sumr Monroe didn’t recognize this face at all.
As the person approached, she suspiciously asked, "May I ask who you are?"
"It’s really you, Miss Monroe." The person extended a hand and said, "My na is Claire Woodward, a doctor at First Ross Hospital. I’ve heard so much about you."
Upon hearing it was Ross Hospital, and with the surna Woodward, Sumr Monroe finally rembered that Charles Chapman had ntioned soone like this before.
Given her generally positive impression of doctors, she let her guard down a bit, shook hands with the newcor, and said, "Hello, Doctor Woodward, I’ve heard a lot about you as well."
Claire Woodward wore a subtle smile and said, "What a coincidence. I was hoping Doctor Chapman would introduce us, but he had a situation yesterday and left. I thought there’d be little chance for us to et, but here we are in a supermarket. Are you alone?"
Sumr Monroe shook her head, "I have a few friends with ."
"Would it be okay to exchange contacts?" Claire Woodward offered her account’s QR code.
With the phone already extended, Sumr Monroe found it hard to refuse. With a "ding," they added each other as friends.
Just then, a familiar male voice sounded.
"Sumr Monroe?"
Startled, Sumr Monroe turned her head and saw Mio Osborne walking toward her with a bottle of ketchup in hand, his brows furrowed.
